Yes they are, that was fixed. I'm watching now. Costs about 7 pounds/11 USD. You have to register, takes twenty seconds. Daniel Ammann vs. Lawrence Tauasa, rd 1. Ammann throwing lots of flurries down the middle, all blocked or otherwise missing. Tauasa throwing very infrequent but forceful uppercuts. The only punches landing for either are whips to the lower body. Ammann's, following the pattern, are more plentiful but Tauasa's are harder. I'm giving Tauasa the round.
Round 2 LT lands some good body shots early, straight left by DA lands, both guys exchanging good shots mid ring, uppercut lands by LT, nice combo by DA, body shot lands again for LT. Close round, argument for both fighters, power to Tuasa, workrate to DA, I'll go for LT.
Round 2 Tauasa cutting off the ring well, covering up and persisting through fire to get inside. His uppercut is still the signature punch of this fight, and is now landing. He's able to follow it with an upstairs hook when Ammann reacts. Ammann would be winning these rounds on activity if he wasn't getting tagged by really nice punches. 20-18 Lawrence Tauasa.
Round 3 Good left by DA rocks LTs head back at start of round, DA scoring well this round. I'll give the 3rd to DA on workrate.
Round 3 Ammann comfortably picking off Tauasa from a hands at his hips stance. Tauasa missing in this round...not getting as close as he was. I'll give Ammann this one.
Round 4 DA working behind the jab, LT can't find a way in for those body rips. DA using his reach well now, nice right lands by LT. DA lands some nice straight lefts, again I'll go for DA on workrate.
Round 4 Battle of the jabs in the first minute. They're pretty much canceling each other out. Tauasa is able to push his up toward Ammann's chin, while Ammann sort of snaps his to preserve his ideal punching range...but not capitalizing with any follow-up. Tauasa becomes squared up and Ammann tries to build a combo off the jab, and sees his efforts blocked. He finally pumps a pair of lead lefts that crunch Tauasa's chin into his throat. He then punches non-stop (albeit not at breakneck pace) for the last twenty seconds, landing about half his power punches. Clear Ammann round.
Round 5 Combo lands by DA, scoring well. DAs jab landing well, LT digs into the body again. Reckon DA is outboxing him, scorecards will be interesting. DAs round for me.
Seems we're in sync so far Leon. :good Round 5 Ammann trying to assert his jab from the bell, sticking a triple and then a double in Tauasa's face. Stepping back with a jab every time Tauasa comes forward. Tauasa avoiding any close exchanges, twisting his body and sliding away every time one seems afoot. Tauasa able to find Ammann's body as he squeezes through an opening between opponent and ropes. Both guys slap each other's sides in a clinch. Nice 1-2 from Ammann, best combo he's thrown. His jab has been very busy this round and may have netted it for him. He seals the deal with some four punch combinations while slipping Tauasa's shots. 48-47 Ammann.
could not bother buying the card, so relying on you guys for feedback!! props to you, most of yall in aussie land and kiwi land?
I hit submit right as the bell rang! How are you posting your summaries first? You must have a better internet connection or stream. :huh Round 6 Ammann reintroduces his jab. Tauasa reintroduces his ripping repeat body shots, which have been absent a few rounds. Ammann now using the full ring...gets trapped on the ropes and punches his way out. Reaches forward and down with a jab and tags Tauasa crisply as he crouches. Nice short counter left on the button as Tauasa comes in. Tauasa leans into a clinch, looks tired. He's being significantly outlanded. The jab is on fire for Ammann again. 58-56 Ammann.
Final Round, Round 6 LT lands a low blow (unintentional), ref misses it. Again DA landing some good scoring shots, LT cant get off the big shots. DA keeps outworking LT, I'll go 58-56 to DA, could go either way.
Boston, MA - USA. :yep I think the actual Kiwis get this on television PPV instead of having to settle for a three inch frame on their computer screen. :good Of course they're paying a bit more.
