you have an excellent point. 24/7 is good for someone who doesnt watch boxing often 2) someone who's never seen the show

otherwise when you've watched it enough, you can pick up on the typical formula they use over and over again.... its getting old

For me its lost a lot of substance since the first initial shows and doesn't really tell me much about anything or satisfy my interest in the fight as a fan. I'd like it if they put an effort in not recycling the same old stuff,add new content, and try something different.

Anyway Manny and Cotto might be boring personalities but i still cant wait to see them training. Besides HBO will find something interesting about it. I thought JMM would make it dull but found his story interesting as well as the infamous **** drinking thing.

24/7 series is not for the hardcore boxing fans but is in fact for the casual boxing fans to maybe take an interest purchasing the fight and buy the ppv. Remember there are no AMERICAN fighters headlining the ppv, HBO wants and needs the casual fan to take an interest in this fight if they want to do over 1million ppv buys.

I have no doubt that this fight could do 1 mill. But 24/7 will have a lot to do with it. So they need this **** to be on point.

Its funny because in england the majority of people don't know who manny pacqauio or miguel cotto are. This is the honest truth.

But they know who floyd mayweather is, even if they haven't seen any of his fights or follow his career. You need to sell yourself outside the ring just as much as you sell yourself inside that squared circle.

 

i rather watch the 24/7 of a fight thats almost guranteed to be exciting of 2 boring personalties, than a 24/7 of a mismatch of 2 fighters with interesting personalities.

 

They know who Manny is now after he knocked your boy out in 2 rounds. Don't worry, they just act like they didn't know what happened.

And the only reason England knows about PBF is because PBF wore the stupid Union Jack jacket and had to do a tour to promote his own fight to the English masses. Pac and Cotto don't have to fly all the way to England to get a bunch of soccer heads to buy their fight. it sells itself. Now maybe if they get Matthew Hatton on the undercard as a spitbucket guy, that will raise interest...
