I sent Audley a letter in 2007, just after his Sprott loss, it was around the time I fully immersed myself in the sport. I found his motivation, self belief, and sheer determination extroidinary. He has a superb skill set, as was displayed in the olympics. Unfortunately his management were not too great, and I said before his win last night, that he was unlucky, and just needed that break. He deserves his chance. Far too many people, most on our UK forum unfortunately, have an agenda with Harrison because.......He has not given up? He still wants his dream? He is still beasting himself in training, and fighting and still devoted to the sport?

Its an absolute disgrace that he is chasticed like this. The people who slate him have probably never boxed before, and therefore their views should be kept in private, especially if they are of the prejudice type, which I am pretty sure they are. There is a reason he moved to the US, and we are hearing rumours of racism/discrimination/prejudice etc. The fella was shafted by the same wanker promoters who shaft us every other month, along with the BBC who are quite clearly to blame for his career and the lack of Boxing coverage on this island; all rooted to the deal they gave Audley when he came home from the Olympics.

Audley is a champ in my eyes. He is a hardworking, solid, professional and a very determined fighter who fundamentally is trying to achieve the same dream as every other boxer in this world: Win a World Title. He has not given up, he has not retired, he has not stop dreaming, so he deserves the backing of every UK Boxing fan in the UK, period.

I never got a reply to my letter but I feel in some kind of way he replied last night. Cheers Audley.

I enjoyed the close up of his eyes last night in the interview, i've never really got bothered about Harrison, but listening too him spout i'am now of the opinion that this scheaming bloodsucking charlatan should be ****ed off big time once & for all.

Barry Hearn had a great concept here in prizefighter & now to me it's tarnished as this last one has been set up for Harrison's comeback, you heard it in the interview, he's teamed up with Hearn, Harrison's eyes said it all, he's a thief & he'll keep coming back & back & back to the trough of plenty, he's nothing but a parasite:bbb

I liked the way he blamed the BBC for having some sort of hate campaign against him.

I just wanted to shout 'NO AUDLEY, THE REASON WHY EVERYONE BOOS IS BECAUSE OF YOUR LOUSY CAUTIOUS PERFORMANCES & YOUR MOUTH'.

I really dont think the bbc gives him a second's thought.

If he just shut his mouth about becoming a world champ all the time, showed aggression in the ring, fought some decent opponents (not last nights tomato cans) and let his skills do the talking - people would like him. Its not that hard to work out Audley, it really isn't.

And why did he say he's gonna take a break after prizefighter?? I'm mean serously Audley, what are you talking about, you've been on a break for about 2 years. Need another rest do you, lets not forget you've got all those peak years ahead of you now you're 37.

I dont hate him. I thought what he did last night was show us what hes actually capable of. Saying that one night doesn't forgive his previous 9 years as a professional. Its now or never for Audley, if he becomes a World Champion as hes promised so much over the years, he will most certainly earn my respect. Unlikely that will happen however.

Would i tell him to his face ? abso ****ing lutely. The man is a waster. When i was boxing i never had a quarter of the talent he had,but i was willing to have a go even when the odds were stacked against me,Harrison has never taken a chance in his life.Even when fighting guys who were much smaller and less talented he has looked like a rabbit in a cars headlights. He has every attribute possible to become a world champion except one and thats "BALLS"
When he retires his boxing career will be remembered as Coulda,Woulda,Shouda.

He made the mistake of 'boxing' in a fighting tournament. Most of the folk there wanted Williams style fights, no defence, no skill just punching. Harrison got it spot on and looked a class apart at times.

The only dissapointment for me was he said he was gonna have a rest for a bit. He should be calling out Fury to fill the Oct 17th slot. Primarily cos the undercard is **** and i'm going but that would make a statement of intent. Then winner of Rogan / Sexton, and after that look at Areolla who appears to have recieved far to much credit for being a punch bag against Vitali. IMO a confident Harrison beats him very easily.

I think he deserves respect for following his dream when the vast majority are laughing in his face.

    Good luck Aud :good

P.s - Hope he gets the winner of Sexton Rogan next.

What the **** is this 'needs a break about'????????????????

    Audley is hillarious,

'The BBC exiled me and forced me to leave the UK'.

Sort of shite David Icke would come out. He wants a break from boxing fine, I say go on tour like Bunce, let the people hear his views on the origins of AIDS/Sine flu/ 9/11, JFK etc and watch his hair receed even more.

This age old adage is quite apt for Harrison:

There are two sorts of men in this world

    Talkers & Do'ers
