I can't believe what I read on the first page of this thread !!! I can only hope it's only a troll one ! First of all, when I read 'Hatton was shot when he fought Floyd and Manny it makes me wanna kill. Can't you ****in realize that he finally met a true champion thats why he got exposed as a fighter with no technique whatsoever ??? Second, a shot mayweather would beat any version of Hatton for the simple fact that Hatton can't box for **** and Floyd is a supremely intelligent fighter who won't be caught by a punk who runs to you head first hands down and throws wide looping haymakers ! Floyd's defensive and non-aggressive style combined with Hatton's strength is what made this fight hard for him.
Hattons best weight is 140 Floyd fought Hatton at 147 Never been a good weight for Ricky, if you have been following this sport, you would know that Collazo is the first to really take that 0 from ricky and that to took place at 147
LMAO.. hatton was undefeated, how could he not be in his prime... you should have asked, hatton vs mayweather 140.. prime for prime.
its Collazo, and yes I thought he beat Ricky, if you want to say Marquez beat pac twice then no problem tell your boy Floyd he beat the guy who beat Manny twice and now he needs to go fight a true welter weight out there Mosley already made him **** his pants.... No no no your right Ricky won that fight it is on paper as is Chavez and whitaker who fought to a draw..
Mayweather has been good at every weight class he been in, some better then others. I would have to say based on skill and speed Floyd would of beat any form of Hatton at any weight or stage in there careers.
One was a draw the other a loss, but there is plenty of people who think Marquez actually won both the fights, but then they usually watch the fight and not rely on boxrec
if u saw the lazcano fight you would see that all that confidence that ricky had when he was undefeated was gone due to floyd mayweather schooling him....he was shot cuz floyd took his aura of invincibility....lazcano was way past his prime and almost knocked his ass out...
I'm a huge Ricky Hatton fan, and even I only see that ending one way. Hatton had all the momentum in the world as an undefeated 29-year old with 45 wins under his belt. He had just dominated and destroyed Castillo... that was his high tide right there. Mayweather was just too good for him.
