I think people are getting a bit carried away. He has been very inactive and whilst he looked impressive and very quick, he was fighting Shane Cameron. If he did that to a Dimentriko, Chambers, Povetkin or maybe even Johnson, I'd put a bit more emphasis on this win. However, I wouldn't get too hyper about his chances of beating Wlad. If he does land then I think he finished WALDO off, but it's whether he can land and whether he can stop WALDO from holding to stop the follow up attack.
Wow you people need to freaking wake up to reality. Look i'm a big Tua fan but i ain't stupid. I just don't see Tua beating either Klit brothers. Both Klits would easily beat Tua by using their very long reach with the hard jabs. Style wise Peter vs Tua or Arreola vs Tua is the fight that should happen next. Since Arreola is talking about fighting in december then why not Tua vs Arreola?
Are you kidding me? Vitali just fought the #1 WBC contender and Wlad fought the #3 Ring Magazine fighter, an unbeaten former WBA champion. Chambers earned a mandatory shot. If Tua did the same the Klitz would either have to vacate the belt or fight him. I hope Tua becomes a mandatory challenger, but it will take him 3-4 good wins in a row. We'll see if he has the dedication and skills to follow through.
If i pick between those 2 fights then i pick Tua vs Arreola but realisticly i think Peter vs Tua makes the most sense. Peter is now in shape and is looking good while Tua looks in good shape himself why not this fight next? If i have to bet on who would win? my money is on Tua cause Peter who loves to brawl can't brawl with Tua. Tua hits way harder then Peter.
100% correct Had Wlad tried to land with Iggy so far down and back, wlad would have been WAY of balance and open to a fast counter which is Iggy's kind of fight. Very smart by Wlad. Some guys just dont realize there is thinking in the ring. Wlad should get credit for thinking smart and NOT falling into that trap. Instead he gets **** for not getting the KO "Caveman style"
oh great, wlad would've been open for a counter by someone who weighs 40 pounds less and is not even regarded as a hard puncher. nut maybe if wlad showed some balls in that fight and took some risks, he wouldnt have been booed out of the arena :yep
I'll tell you which fight makes more sense right now- Tua vs the winner of Haye-Valuev. I want to see Tua get himself a belt before it's all said and done, and I'd love to see the fireworks between him and Haye or him trying to topple the giant.
