he needs to fight a Klitchko, he has alot more confidence and isnt as gunshy as he was against Lewis, Bryd etc.

Anyone notice it was the overhand right that did most of the damage and not the left hook?

Srsly that guy wasnt that bad, just look how he was boxing. He was boxing pretty well to start with and jabbing at the right time to make Tua reset, he was just unlucky to get smacked just as he was firing his own right hand.
IMO he wouldnt have expected Tua to completely ignore his 1-2 and throw at the same time, everyone else Cameron has fought (bunch of bums and journeymen) has covered up, Cameron is just a regional guy but hes not a complete featherfist.

Thats Tua IMO, he just ignored it and said "thankyou you're in range now" and smacked him once, game over lol

I think his handspeed when he was finishing was at least as fast as Tyson tbh, he needs to be able to throw that fast from a distance though to beat the long-armed guys

Tua did not need to punch Cameron two time while he was done. Could have easily been a disq.

    Cameron is not Vitali Klitschko.

    true true,
I think that David is a better fighter now than he was leading up to his title shot with Lewis. Since then he face losses to Byrd and a draw to rahman, both of which showed a lackluster Tua. Then there was the legal problems which inevitably led to inactivity and wieght gains which didnt do him any good. I think it was his comeback against Talmadge Griffis which started the ball rolling towards him being a serious prospect in the heavy weight division.
Although he has fought only a handful of times since then he has shown the power and speed which he was known for as a young professional.
Tua's downfall in the future will not be his weight gains or losses, or even his inactivity, it will be whether he becomes gun-shy and fails to throw combinations against his taller opponents. He has always had the ability to close a fight with one punch yet it has not always worked when facing up against quality skilled fighters. The overhand right that Tua's camp tried to introduce into is arsenal years ago was always successful. He just didnt have enough ring time to fully develop it and throw it with confidence.
Last night I think he showed that he has the power to knockout with either hand , in the same fashion the Tyson or foreman could.
As for the Klitscko's, I think Tua has a real shot at cleaning them out due to his slick fluidity and unorthadox defense. Tua was shut out by Lewis and Byrd because they both had a natural slickness and fluid mobility which they used with well placed jabs all night that Tua was unable to figure out.
they Klitchko's do not posses the power to knock out Tua, (lewis didnt).
Tua's chance at winning if by throughing combinations and waiting for a mistake in the Russians defense.

Really? People are getting over-excited because he blew out a no-name in the exact same fashion everyone expected him to blow him out in?

That's because he isn't fighting guys like Lewis or Byrd, he's fighting guys like Shane Cameron.

Best Tua has looked with his hands in awhile. He was throwing combos!

Still needs to lose about 20 lbs, but good stuff.

Devastating... but what did you expect from Tua against a competely over-matched opponent?

No, Tyson was much faster. It's time for Tua to fight a top ten heavyweight. Vitali or Vlad will stop him, but could be a big money fight.
