dude chill out, i and many other people were annoyed by klit huggers tip licking vitali after he beat up the mexican pilsbury doughboy, yet praised his performance. nobody is making a big deal on WHO tua beat, its HOW he beat him. if tua were to fight cameron three years ago it probably wouldve ended in the 10th with tua behind on all scorecards before scoring a knockout. tua looked sharp, utilized good head movement, and threw combos instead of looping hooks. just like vitali, people weren't choked up on who he beat because arreola is nothing but an HBO hype job, its how he performed. he dominated arreola from start to finish by using his reach and somewhat decent foot work.

I just said when Tua was finishing he looks faster, at age 37 too! Tyson was faster overall than Tuas sloppy jabs and rangefinders but when Tua got set and starting winging them that was some serious handspeed and power, check it out on youtube, anyone that thinks that slow is blind

First of all, the highlighted bit is some of the biggest bull**** I've ever read on this forum. Cameron is a complete no-name, a fighter who'd never have had any level of success against any fighter even nearing the top tier of Heavyweights. Tua at any point in his career would've stopped him early after a quick beating.

And why is it worth mentioning how said fighter won when they won in the exact same fashion they were supposed to? Against a completely overmatched opponent obviously on his way to being exposed (as in the case of Vitali and Arreola), or a completely overmatched opponent obviously being used as a stepping stone? Sure, he looked good, but the fact that he looked good against some D level fighter doesn't mean he's going to look good against the Klitschko's.

Cameron wasnt boxing badly, look at the tape, he was jabbing and making Tua reset, he just got smacked the first time when most would have least expected, ie when he was throwing his own hard right hand, bit too brave for his own good IMO, should have stayed on the bike for longer
All this fight shows is what we longtime Tua fans knew, which is that he really was going to look renewed this time after looking **** for 10 years
He now needs to see if he can go more rounds with a bigger better fighter , a top 10 guy

From 7 seconds into the second round to 13 seconds in. Twenty power punches land. Yeah, Tyson was ten times faster than that. Speed of sound, right?

this whole post just proved what i said about the klitschko fans, just because vitali beat chris "***** tits" arreola doesn't mean he'll look good against tua. was vitali not expected to win against arreola? was it not expected to be completely one sided? im far from being a klitschko fan but i knew for a fact chris arreola wouldn't stand a chance against him. and thats goes for anyone who watches boxing, it was expected to be a complete shut out. and yes, tua did beat a mediocre journeyman, im not gonna deny that. but seeing as someone like chris arreola is a top contender tells me ALOT about the current state of HW's. its been a while since vitali fought someone that can bang and can take a punch at the same time, last time he did he lost.

Yeah, too bad his hands are slow, his guard was low, his chin is crap, and basically he sucks balls.... but other that that he's one damn fine fighter. :thumbsup

 You Tua fans are getting way too ahead of yourselves. What Tua did tonight was blow through another bum like he's been doing his whole career and now all of a sudden he's ready to conquer the world?

Arreola was a top ten opponent and Vitali hasn't come close to losing since the Lewis fight while still facing nothing but contenders.

Big difference there when comparing those guys to this tomato can named Shane Cameron.

i thought Cameron fought better than Arreola did.... Arreola just went forward getting hit and he gets big cheers for being such a punchbag. At least cameron put up a brave stand by throwing good punches.....well at least far better than the slappy **** Arreola was throwin into the breeze.

Tua aint there...... yet. I hope they match Arreola with Tua and see how fast he gets put on his fat ass. I reckon 4 rounds top.

you call cameron a tomato can which he is, but chris arreola is nothing more than a tomato can with a high ranking, the guy jiggles in places where you aren't supposed to, as larry merchant wisely pointed out. and the fact that arreola landed some clean, yet sloppy looking shots on klitschko tells me ALOT about vitali's so called "skills"

No, because nobody knew his name prior to him being matched with Tua. Really? Are you really trying to argue that this guy was a solid, name fighter who wasn't simply thrown to the wolves here?

    That's pretty sorry.

I counted 15 or 16 power punches that actually landed from the 2:55 mark to the 2:46 mark. That's less than 2 punches per second, which is not hard to do on a completely immobile, defenseless target.

Just to humor you, watch Tyson land 6 power shots (the last 3 being uppercuts in succession) in less than 2 seconds, off the cuff against an opponent was was not hurt and turtled up prior.
