I dont know what all the arguments rae over.

Tua will fight better fighters than Cameron.

Cameron was the best in this region.

He called out Tua. Tua accepted after a few too many insults were fired his way.

Tua could have beaten him when he was severely overweight.

His return is all about making it to the States and is intent upon working his way up....one fight at a time. One good fighter at a time. The fighters will get better defensively and power wise. They will fall or get beat till the job is done. If not the journey is over already.

Tua knows that. He aint fooling himself, and he is not taking anyone lightly. Now thats what i call boxing smart.

Only time will reveal what is to be, so relax and enjoy the fireworks while they last folks.

Because convincingly beating a decent top ranked fighter(Arreola) is somewhat impressive.
Beating a nobody who had already been beaten up by another nobody on the other hand is not really that impressive.
Vitali hasnt fought someone as bad as Cameron in over a decade.

Fark you guys cant see the wood for the trees, Tua looked real sharp in his comeback and showed serious speed when teeing off on the ropes, every shot a massive one. That Tyson combo only has about 2 meaningful punches most were blocked or lacking full power, you guys are ****ing deluded by history and 3rd hand wisdom

I knew Tua was going to look the best he has for years and I predicted a round 2 KO, all we are saying is he looked sharp, this isnt just another Tua bumfight, I accept hes looked **** the last 10 years , this time hes going to crack some heads, but he needs to fight someone good to prove it.

BTW Arreola is obviously way better than Cameron, dont know why his name is here, but anyone can see Cameron was boxing half decently to start with, hes not Bob Creampuff and he doesnt have a soft chin.

Tua returns, almost 40 years old, after a long layoff, and people say that he's better than when he was in his prime? He beat Shane Cameron and that proves that he can beat Wladimir or Vitali Klitschko?

Cameron is a glorified pub fighter who got beaten pillar to post by Friday Ahu-whatsisname.
He never beat ANYBODY good.not even anyone with a good record.
If Arreola fought Cameron he'd finish him in the same amount of time it took Tua. Arreola has already beaten about 7 fighters better than Cameron in his career.
The guys Cameron beat would probably get beaten up in a fight down in the pub on a Saturday night. Not one noted fighter on his record, not even a washed up formerly top class guy.
I dont know if you're from N.Zealand.Maybe you are and thats why you're so blinkered as to how useless Cameron is by world heavyweight standards.

Hes not even in the same league as Arreola. Arreola could weight 300 pounds and still beat Cameron.

Its just hard for people to see what in front of them, Tua in fact is fresher and faster than at anytime since he was 225lb fighting for Lou Duva. He just needs to show for more rounds against a better opponent then people will want to see him in with the champ

im from detroit, MI homeboy, currently residing in west chester, PA. chris arreola is an HBO hype job, his style is sloppy and only looks good against aging fighters (mccline) and has trouble with mediocre journeymen (walker). nothing he has done convinces me he could beat shane cameron easliy. he would beat him, but it wouldn't be by KO, it would be by SD. chris arreola hasn't beaten anyone as well, his title shot was just the product of HBO wanting to get money, chris wasn't ready, and i expected vitali to wreck house on arreola.

Yer possibly, but he didnt catch him real good, not like Tyson vs Savarese or Jones vs Griffin, and it wasnt dangerous or fight-altering so no IMO

McCline may be aging but hes still miles ahead of anyone Cameron has fought. If Walker is mediocre what does that make,Robert Davis and Terry Smith, who were Camerons most recent triumphs??
Chazz Witherspoon was undefeated before he fought Arreola,so was Damian Willis. Arreola fought decent fighters. The guys Camerob beat were probably dragged out of a bar a few hours before the fight.
This of course is overlooking the fact that he was destroyed by a C level fighter.

Do you think Friday would have done this to Arreola?

Tua probably can't beat the klits, but it ain't gonna be because of him being past prime. Tua has been inactive for 5 years (basically) and showed his explosiveness/quickness is still pretty good. He'll likely lose cause the klits will punish him from long range and smartly avoid any in fighting.

Yes Cameron is a 'no name' but looked fit and probably a c level HW. It's a great starting point for Tua's comeback and his power/quickness probably makes this version of Tua (in decent shape, not great) about top 15 in this sorry state of hw's. yeah we shouldn't get too carried away with the win, but let's be real: the HW division, other than the klits and 2 or 3 others is a joke.

irish, you can blow up all these names thinking you can make a difference, i view them all as bums and so does any other boxing fan, cameron included. being udefeated in todays HW divison is not all thats cracked up to be, and who the hell is chazz witherspoon??? the fact this no name is undefeated means there are even more bums in the HW divison then i thought they were. i am by no means defending shane cameron, he is a bum, and arreola along with the opposition he's beaten is a slight step above cameron.
