Amir Khan vs Juan Manuel Marquez @ 140 = Khan win via UD

After seeing JMM fighting near 140 clearly not his fighting weight he looked slow footed, low work rate and at this weight I feel Khan would be too fast, too big. Khan would just fight at range using his speed coming in and out and win via UD.

And I hear JMM wants to fight at 140, so this fight can be made down the line.

There is a big difference between facing an accurate, solid enough puncher in Mayweather who is defensively exceptional - to Khan, with millions of arm punches, sidestepping around the ring and quite easy to hit.

JMM would drag Khan into a brawl, and win by stoppage.

I dont think so, at 140 JMM looks moves real slow around the ring and is not fighting at his natural weight, Khan would never get into a brawl JMM would be chasing shadows for most of the night.

JMM would have a much better chance at 135.

 

If Pac wants no more of JMM, I hardly think Roach is going to put Khan in there.
Face it Khan and Roach are going to spend the forseeable future cherry picking feather fisted opponents.

For arguments sake if this ever did happen I'd go with Marquez via murder.

 

Darni is obviously asian or Muslim (Name: Darni, tag 187(gotta love gang banger culture), location: London - so it's a no brainer) and so has a clear bias towards Khan in this matchup.

That said I have no bias. No color, religeon or creed affects my judgement: Khan brutally KTFO Marquez - and he would - at 135 or 140 take your pick. If anyone thinks otherwise their loss but mark my words this fight may very well happen and when Khan destroys Marquez moreso than Mayweather people will say Marquez was washed up or past prime.

P.S. No, Khan is *not* better than Mayweather before any dumb asses say my statement assumes that.

 

Khan isn't destroying anyone of JMM calibre. The best Khan could hope for is a boring decision stepping in/out and taking absolutely no risks against this sort of opposition.

Marquez doesn't have the arm length nor throws as fast as Prescott. But whatever just don't call Marquez past prime when Khan dominates him...which he would.

 

Not a chance. He'd be scared of his life in there against the Marquez that fought Mayweather.

The only thing that give Khan a chance is time. This fight ain't happening this year, and if they wait long enough Marquez is going to start showing his age.
