Well if hes stuggling to make 145...he definitely shouldnt make it if its gonna be an excuse for loosing. If he goes in at 146(his last fight weight), he would pay 1mil penalty...1mil is nothing, should Cotto beat Pac, his stock will skyrocket and his earnings thereafter will double atleast.

If I was Cotto, I would just come in at 147, pay the 2mil and make that money back + 5mil more in the next fight.

I honestly dont think 2 or even 3 lbs should make a massive difference to cotto in this fight. As long as he has trained well he should be fine. Maybe fighting at 140 would reduce his chances but not this. He should go in at what was agreed. We all know on the night he will be way heavier than at the weigh in and i cant see him having to really sufer to loose an additional 2lbs.

I hope this fight turns out how i thought Pac man vs Hatton was going to be.

So far, I haven't heard any thing bad coming out of Cotto's camp. As far as his weight, If Cotto and his nutritionist says they can make 145 w/ no problems, then who are we to second guess them.

Where did you get this information? Roach said the penalty is too small that he is preparing Pac to fight at 147.

The penalty for Hoya is 1 mil. Not sure about Cotto unless 1 mil is small nowadays...
