I saw him land the exact same combo to Abrile and Abrile didn't budge, Khan may as well have been out cold, because he certainly wasn't fit to continue after the first blow to the temple.

Funny how Terry O'Connor let Khan go on when he stopped the Calzaghe/Manfredo fight isnt it?... He also did the same to Bernard Dunne.

O'Connor was saying "put your hand up, put your hands up.UP!!UP!! PUT YOUR HANDS UP!!!!!" while Dunne, in a daze, simply nodded like a moron at Oconnor until FINALLY putting his gloves up. Although I think the Fury McDermott fight has proven how good a referee O'Connor is after years of me saying it...

EDIT: Oh and this is the Dunne/Martinez fight I'm talking about here.

punch resistance, like everything else, fades at the end of a career, you cant say after countless championship fights that a guy has a weak chin because he got KOd after a decade of fighting.

    I agree..

that left hook was pretty damn viscous with a good amount of power behind it.

plus it also doesn't help the fact that this guy is freakin Colombian, and you know them ****ing dudes hit hard when landing like that.

im not saying that punch could of KO'd a lot of fighters, but it was a pretty well timed and hard punch.

LOL while that is funny, it wasnt his defence(atrocious as it is) in the first place, he leaned in, when he was WAYYYYYY out of range, for a left hook to the body, and Prescott switched his weight and countered with a left hook to the head, pretty hard to focus on defence WHILE you are throwing a punch. OK so his glove was down slightly, but it was the terrible choice of punch he decided to throw, not his defence which let him down.

Cordoba is a decent puncher, he's not featherfisted that's for sure. The left that Poonsawat landed on Dunne was not a clipping shot, what fight where you watching. :patsch

I won't say Dunne's chin is not dodgy but it aint near as bad as Khan's, not even close.

I don't think that's entirely fair. Dunne fought in relative obscurity for the first 14 fights of his career, hidden away on undercards in the States. I doubt much footage exists (if any), so if Dunne had been occasionally troubled by a non puncher most on this forum would be unaware.
Boxrec reveals he was floored by a 4(2)-4-0 Alejandro Cruz; now this could well have been a flash kd or even a slip, but i'm willing to postulate that Dunne has had as many mishaps in the embryonic stages of his career as Khan.

Oliver Mccall, since you've asked for the worst example of a glass chin.
