    Agreed, Well done Melbourne.

Everyone knows 1 month down the track premiers are forgotten and the new season is just around the corner.

I thought it was one of the better GF's over the last decade.
A crucial false penalty suffered by Parra may have made it a nail biter, but the class of the Storm just shone through.
They defended like men possessed & they always had a plan.
    Great win.
I have no problem with Slater getting the trinket. It's pretty much agreed he's the best full back in the world & he did nothing to suggest otherwise in this game.

Having said that, Moimoi just played out of his skin & I don't think there would have been a single surprise if he had got it.

    Yeah Storm.

Its great to be a Storm fan right now.

    How good was Dallas Johnson.

Takes that hit off Moi Moi (Dirty *******) And just keeps trucking along.

Feel Sorry for Parra and Hayne. NOT.

Nice game, and I thought the occasion just got to Parra a bit at the start. Melbourne just seemed too professional, and played to the moment.

Although I was hoping Parra would win, it seems right that the Storm have now won 2 titles from the last 4 comps. A Parra win (as magical as it would have been) would have been pretty undeserved due to their form in the first 3/4 of the comp.

Good luck to both of them trying to stop the red and green juggernaut in 2010 though.

I don't think that Hayne had an awful game, it was just more normal and not what we've seen from him in the last 3 months.

Credit to Melbourne for shutting him down as well as they did. He just wasn't able to bounce off them and create openings like he has done with everyone else lately.

Still, the **** should have followed in his dads footsteps and donned the mighty red and green instead of being a mummas boy.
