Well Dunne fought Cordoba who was a genuine 122lb fighter in his prime and who has a decent dig. Khan fought a well past it, blown up Barerra who was fighting with blood streaming down his face for most of the fight.

Then Dunne fights the big punching Thai who had more ko's than Dunne has had fights. Khan fights the light punching Kotelnik who let's be honest, is not up to much.

So based on that and all the points I made before about Khan being put down by old, naturally smaller, light punching, shot fighters, how the hell can you give Khan the advantage? :patsch You're just seeing what you want to see. Both have bad chins but Khan's is worse without a doubt.

Khan just defeated a world class operator in Kotelnik (no knockdowns), ko's are relative depends on who you have faced, Dunne just about survived against Cordoba in the 5th, and in his last fight out in the 3rd, doesn't bode well for him in the future.

Yes, my point exactly, Khan has faced smaller, light punching and shot fighters and he has been knocked down, Dunne has never been hurt by a blown up or feather fisted fighter, what about this do you not understand? Against Kotelnik Khan was boxing and moving and done a runner the minute Kotelnik landed anything (even though Kotelnik dosen't have much power). Dunne was going toe to toe with Cordoba and Poonsawat. Of course there is more chance of a big puncher koing someone who's going to war with him. Just like there is less chance of a light puncher koing someone who is running for the entire fight. Do you not get that?

The fact that Khan was on shaky legs from a jab does not bode well for his career. Why do you keep ignoring all the points I brought up about the type of fighters that have put Khan down?

BTW, Cordoba was knocked down 5 times against Dunne, so that must mean Cordoba has a glass jaw too right?

He still went on to win those fights by stoppage bar the Prescott one, a big puncher in his own right, what is your point exactly?

My point is that his punch resistance is worse than Dunne's, you said it was debatable, I proved that it is not debatable.
Now you are going on about Khan winning some of those fights because he's a big puncher himself :patsch What has that got to do with anything?

No, i said the only fight he has lost and been knocked out in was the Prescott fight, Prescott is a big puncher, so i don't see why it is not debatable.

Eh, maybe because Prescott is the only real puncher Khan has ever faced. I don't see anything wrong with Khan getting ko'd by a puncher like Prescott, I do see something wrong with what Michael Gomez and Willie Limmond were able to do to him. No blown up, shot or feather fisted boxer has ever hurt Dunne. Ergo, Khan has worse punch resistance. How many other ways can I put it?

He went on to win those fights didn't he? if he was the glass jaw joke you make him out to be, he wouldn't have recovered to win those fights.

Dunne did not fight Poonswat toe 2 toe he was on the backfoot trying to keep Poonswat a bay with the jab , but he could'nt keep him off and was was destroyed.

he does have a glass jaw {wheather its as bad as Khans is up for debate} in Dunnes last four fights he's been knocked out twice and knocked down 8 times , the boys got a jaw made of glass.

I'm not saying he is a glass jawed joke, far from it. I think he was weight drained in those fights and had a lax defense, much like Dunne now. I'm just saying that if you compare how each fighter has been hurt, it is obvious that Khan can be hurt easier than Dunne.

For the record, I actually like Khan and it is admirable that he was able to get up off the canvas and win those fights.

Folks let me end this right here:

Dunne's Chin is not near as bad as Khan's. It is not even close. Khan has the worst Glass Jaw in the whole sport and that is not up for debate.

He went toe to toe with Poonsawat in the third round and got ko'd. Dunne has not been knocked out twice in his last 4 fights, his last 4 fights were against Marciano, Faccio, Cordoba and Poonsawat, resulting in 1 knockout.
He has been knocked down 5 times in those 4 fights not 8. Get your facts straight before you post sugarsean.

Cordoba was knocked down as many times in his fight with Dunne as Dunne has in his last 4. Where does he stand on the "glass jawed" front??

I'm not saying Dunne has a good chin here, it's just not the worst by any stretch.

he did'nt go toe 2 toe in the 3rd he was on the backfoot and was made to fight by poonswat who was closing the range and then sparked him out

my mistake I included the martinez fight so thats is 8 knockdowns and 2 knockouts

he has got a glass jaw and was extremely overated
