Beristain is a great trainer with a tremendous boxing I.Q. He knows his **** and is very honest. He gave plenty of subtle hints before the Mayweather fight that he believed his fighter had no shot. I believe he's giving his honest opinion in this fight as well. Unless Cotto can overwhelm Pac with his size, Pacquiao is going to stomp a mudhole in his ass and walk it dry.

    You are right !!!

And he couldn't deal with Manny's power as well....he got knocked on his ass a few times on each meeting.
I like Marquez...he is one of my favorite fighters, but Nacho is
getting annoying with him desiring to justify Marquez's losses with a Pacquiao win over Cotto.

As far as his prediction goes.....I could give a fat rats ass....
remember he also said that marquez would beat mayweather!!!

Floyd is irresponsible/unprofessional for not making the contracted weight of 144 lbs. and he was penalized with $600,000 for not following the agreed weight...

Floyd took a massive shot at Hoya with the odds stacked against him??:huh:lol::rofl Are you a boxing fan??:D Floyd was the favorite to win in that fight against Hoya... It seems you don't know boxing...:D:lol::rofl

Congrats to Floyd for doing a good job fooling that many people...:rofl

Oh really? So you are telliing me that it would have been better for Floyd to lose the weight and fight like a zombie and take a terrible beating like Oscar did? I wouldn't with that on anybody. Floyd actually did a responsible thing and told them ahead of time. The JMM camp had a choice. They could have forced Floyd to lost the 2 pounds or take the money. They took the money. It was their greed that cost them. I have been a fan all my life. I am a realist and a strategist. Floyd used a brilliant, simple strategy. Ray Leonard used to do the same thing.

Very hard and critical, but very true especially if Hatton suffers the defeat.

Floyd didn't fool anybody. JMM did. You know most of the people who buy the fight want to see Floyd lose anyway. Nobody had to buy the fight. JMM fooled his Mexican compatriots by drinking caraffes of his own ****. We are boxing fans. We will always be fooled because we want our fighters to win. Gatti had people thinking he would KO Floyd. Then the fight start and we all know what happened to him. The only thing you can blame Floyd of is being too good. The guy hasn't fought in two damned years and put on an almost flawless performance. Why wold he fight a Mosely or a Cotto right off the bat? If you have a problem with the guy, then just don't watch his fights. It's as simple as that.

I think the fans need to lighten up. There shouldn't be catchweights anyway. It leads to questionable fights. If Floyd went down to 144 and was weight drained and lost, we would have said JMM beat a shadow of PBF. Instead he went out and put on a gutsy performance, realized he was too small, got paid, and still has his Lightweight belt. It was a win-win situation for him. JMM didn't lose anything
If Cotto is weight-drained, then his fight with Pacquiao will prove nothing except that there should be no catchweights.

I didn't spend a cent on that Floyd-JMM joke tuneup mismatched fight...;) But I will buy a Williams vs. Floyd, Mosley vs. Floyd, Cotto vs. Floyd or even a Clottey vs. Floyd fight...

Floyd has 4 months to prepare and make 144 lbs... He didn't make it and was penalized with $600k... That's what makes him an irresponsible/unprofessional person...

What? Floyd contracted to fight at that weight. Pathetic. This is why no one respects professional boxing anymore- and especially why they don't respect Floyd.

I will buy a Floyd fight... depending on the opponent... If it's Williams, Mosley, Cotto or even Clottey, I will buy it...;)
