No he chooses to get bounced around the ring like a basketball against guys Lewis didn't even consider worthy of a shot at the title Lewis also beat the snot out of WALDOS great protector. WALDO/Lewis comparisons are nonsense.
so youre saying Waldos chin is better than Lewis ? BTW TUA has never been even in KD ( in Pro) and never been cut. I will bet on Tua; I know that the odds will be agains him but this could be it.
So you think Wlad could stay away and not get hit once over 12 rounds? I'm not saying Tua's going to take the Klits apart and dominate the division, but I dont actually think they've been in with anyone who can take a shot and give one the way Tua can.
Is comparable 2 Lennox. If he didn't have a chin,he would of done along time ago. Tua was dropped in a Rahman fight right @ b4 the bell. Vitali has never been Ko'd only stopped on cuts that he was ahead on the score card. And Lennox retired b4 he he had a chance 2 fight the Brewsters and Peters, fighting weight. Tua has 2 work his way up the rankings and convincingly!
Either way, dickhead, he has a snowballs chance in hell of ever being a champ! Maybe if both brothers retired!
Then lets do it!!! Waldo has mandatories. Lets skip those and give Tua his title shot based on his 1 comeback win over whats his name!!!
Wladimir will be able to keep Tua at a distance and clinch when needed to win a UD against Tua. If Wladimir could somehow stop Tua that'd be a big win.
I agree, Wlad would have to fight a perfect fight and not get caught, because Tua still has the power to drop him with one shot. Of the two Klits, I don't know which would be a better fight for Tua. Wlad has a more fluid style, but a suspect chin. On the other hand, he has good technical ability and is in tremendous condition. Vitali is huge, drops bombs like Nagasaki, is in good condition and (supposedly) has the highest KO percentage of any HW in the history of the sport. But.. he does leave his hands down, and if Tua is quick enough... that could be it. Lennox comparisons... Wlad and Lennox had the same trainer, Manny who is great, and fight with a similar low risk game plan. Vitali would have won the fight with Lewis if he had two more rounds, IMO. He was ahead on the cards and was controlling the fight. Besides, I have never been a Lewis fan. He was good, but over hyped. Tua and a title shot... He does not deserve it yet. Lots of work to do to get there...unless you are David Haye, and you can just whine your way into a title shot, then back out, and whine your way into another one with a much less skilled fighter. That brings about another question... With HW's coming in at 6'6 or taller, and over 250 in peak condition... do we need a Super HW division? You have guys like Byrd, Tua, Tyson, Ali, Foreman, Holyfield, Ruiz, Briggs, Norton, Joe Louis..the list goes on, who are/were under 6'5.
Dude, who would want to take any part of Tua? Obviously the pros are pros. I heard Tua had some issues with the Lewis but he showed nothing. Tua would be lucky to make the distance against Vitaly.
Agreed - I dont want to see Tua get a shot at the Klits just off the back of what he did to Cameron, and a few fights would only be beneficial to Tua. Let him fight Peter, or Arreola, or both, and get him in there with a taller guy and see how he goes. I have a feeling that Tua is taking things very seriously right now, and the guys that make up the top 10 below the Klits are going to have to lift their game if they find themselves in the same ring as the Tua we saw on the weekend. But let him earn it then have a go at the brothers.
Yes he was. Watch the fight again, he gives up his height with his stance, he leans in with his punches with his chin out, his hands were very low after less than 2 minutes, he brings his hands back low after he punches. That's in addition to what you pointed out. Cameron was asking to be knocked out. ANY previous version of Tua would have finished Cameron.
