I'm an accountant so I understand Koncz's poin of view.

However, I was a boxer first so I understand how important team dynamics is and like everyone else here, understand how CRUCIAL Roach is to Manny's boxing success.

Look at what Manny was before and during the beginning stages of Freddie being in his corner and what he's become. Roach has totally helped Manny's game improve overall, his right hand now EXISTS, and his technique is far superior to what it used to be.

Either Manny's team is totally ****ed for the Cotto fight, of they're doing all of these things on purpose to try and signify mind games.

oh yeah, I didn't knew that. He sure can eat a lot though. When you are famous as Pac, is better to have people that you really trust, not like those idiots that stole from Wilfredo Benitez and left him in misery.

 

In the end it's all about money, but it's manifested through control of Manny. Freddie isn't Pac's manager, but he attempts to influence Pac's career beyond the typical trainer-fighter relationship would dictate and that scares them. Freddie says a lot of **** in public that is totally inappropriate as a trainer, though that doesn't mean he's not looking out for Pacquiao's best interests.

I might even understand the call to fire him. He might be a great trainer, but if Manny wanted him to be his manager then he'd make him his manager. It's bad for the camp when there's an internal struggle.

 

pacquiao is NOTHING with mr. shakey, freddie roach! without freddie, pacquiao would had not progressed as he has, first as a fighter then as a ppv star. pacquiao owes everything to freddie and he knows it. that's why he will never let go of roach because roach made pacquiao.
