You know, sometimes sparring doesn't necessarily give you the experience you need. Antillon thought he was ready for speed, but got clubbered by Acosta. Maybe he didn't think it would benefit him sparring with a guy a couple weights below, no matter how good he is.
If Henry can't do it, Team Pacquiao should just get some in house sparring partners. Like.... Michael Koncz. I'd pay good money to watch that sparring session. Saves Manny some extra undue expenses, looking for expensive, outside sparring partners, right, Koncz?
I agree. Most would have jumpped all over this offer. But The kid has talent, skill, ability and a very good head on his shoulders. Reminds me of Juan Diaz a little with his maturity.
I think it worth seeing where his career in boxing goes. He has good power and decent speed to follow up.
hmm says . . . fack i would temporarily give up my education to spar with manny.. fack, that's ***** points right there and a one time life opportunity.......facking gave up on a great opportunity.. kudos for putting HIS priorities first.
I can understand where henry is coming from but to lose that once in a lifetime opportunity, and maybe even tell your grand children that you beat the hell out of the # 1 p4p fighter in the world in a sparring where you were paid handsomely. Many people would die just to have that kind of opportunity but henry has his own free will and he has made his decision so we have to respect that.
Damn, I guess. Did you see in that clip where he "bowed" to all four sides after the KO? He def. been watchin' some Cotto footage.
