Hopkins was not in his prime, & the others shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Holyfields opponents!!

Hopkins p4p number 3.. destroyed undisputed champ Pavlik soon after, safe to say prime.

You mean all the blown up welterweights and Howard Eastman?

    Eubank > anyone Hopkins beat.

The sad thing is I get a feeling you might actually be that stupid or just a very good english troll, Calzaghe is 4-0 amongst opponets anyone has ever heard of and one of them was shot and you saying all the other threats ducked him (im guessing this excuses his 9 year hiatas of not fighting a live opponet after he won the title fromm Eubank?) when it was Calzaghe who pulled out of every fight with a supposed injury is laughable. Not to stray from the thread but by all means your a idiot I cant even imagine how high you would of rated Chavez's unbeaten streak if he was from the U.K also your the same idiot who thinks Calzaghe accomplished more than Ali and I quote "History will remember Calzaghe as the better fighter" .....or 10-30 brits as opposed to a couple billion others, get a new gig all you do is post ******ed threads about british fighters and pretend like they could of beaten God, Jesus twice, and Hercules on the same day.

ALl i see is racist drivel.

calzageh faced 11 world champions, all the best of his era refused to fight him, Calzaghe pulled out against Hopkins? no.. Calzaghe forcved RJJ to face binmen? no, Calzaghe made Toney eat his way up to HW rather than face him? No... Calzageh made Pavlik say no twice? no... Calzaghe made Collins retire? see, stupid comments from you.

Everything I have said is backed up by facts.

Calzaghe might have faced 11 world champions - but how many of them were genuinely prime at the time?

You need to realise that form is important in boxing. Beating a 20-0 (12) up and coming contender is better than beating a 50-7 (28) former champion who has lost his last two by stoppage..... surely?

Holyfield fought Bowe x3, Tyson x2 and Lewis x2, with a record of 3-3-1.

That alone eclipses anything Calzaghe has done, easily so.

The current version of Holyfield might lose to the best version of Joe.

Byrd beat an old Holyfield who was not yet as shot as he is now. Joe beat Byrd in the amateurs. How likely was it to think Byrd would ever beat Holyfield if you look at Byrd's early career at lower weights? But he did.

Well you can make excuse for anything if you feel like it, your clearly to stupid to listen to facts so it doesn't matter all you did was mention a lot of hypethetical bull****. You sure Toney went to CRUISERWEIGHT to not face him? did Pavlik say no twice? he seemed to want that fight pretty bad who cares about Collins and RJJ was shot to **** so it's meaingless I do give Calzaghe full credit for beating Hopkins despite his age and the Kessler win was a great win too but you say 11 world chapions like it means **** I dont even know who these supposed world champions are I guess there's enough belts for anyone to win them but Calzaghe fought 4 opponets worth mentioning and thats a fact. Racist Drivel by the way? im white and though alot of American's want to see your fighters on there back I support most of your fighers I hated Hatton but I like Froch and Calzaghe was a great fighter he certainly ended his career right, but he certainly could of done more and didn't do anything to rate him as high as you do and beating Holyfield at Heavyweight is flat out ******ed anyhow if you accually think that I wish you wet dreams of Barry McGuigan somehow beating Salvador Sanchez at 126 but im going to sleep your either a idiot or a troll cant quite figure it out yet maybe both ..also you sort of avoided every point I made.

I stopped reading at ''your to stupid'' why? because it is ''too'' and ''you're'' therefore anything beyond that was probably engulfed in mistakes and irony.

Holy and it wouldnt be close. Joe wouldnt hurt him and Holy would be fit enough to handle the work rate and he wold also have enuff power to drop Calzaghe.
