Exactly. You have NOTHING to base YOUR opinion on. Really a shame how you feel you need to resort to calling people ******s because they don't agree with you.

Valid points from both of us! :good

Cuevas broke bones, beating the best there was. How does that make him ordinary?

The way Leonard had too much experience for Norris? Norris kicked ass in that fight. It's speed and firepower that cuts it in real fights. All this talk of how so and so would have outsmarted the younger, stronger man sounds good on paper but has no meaning when it comes to actual fights.

In Leonards prime he was faster, hit harder and was a better boxer than Norris. He was a shell when Norris fought him

Just one thing. I am more inclined to at least listen to a poster who is polite and respectful, even though he might disagree. As opposed to one with a chip on his shoulder, spouting things like "delusional" and "******ed"...

Price was a terrible fighter with no chin who was hyped up for the leonard fight as the uncrowned welterweight champion without disclosing all his losses in recent years as if he had been ducked by all the other fighters in his division. With such a frightening build up you'd think Cosell wouldve been asking "where you been all these years. Why arent you getting all the big fights?"

"Uncrowned champion" :nono The truth was he couldnt cut it. ABC probably didnt want Cosell going into Andy's recent history so they hid it from the public.

Why did Jose baquedano (future Tony Ayala victim) stop him? Does that make him uncrowned champion?

I don't care, I just think its odd that you constantly call Price 'china chinned' that Cuevas who you describe as a 'bone breaker' and no.4 on your ATG 147lb list didn't stop him? Surely it should be a no brainer, going by your logic?:think

Nah, as I said I was never trying to 'sway' you, I said earlier that I appreciate anyone that's into boxing enough to vouch for a particular fighter:good

It's not that you don't care, it's that you know better than to answer the question. If Andy were uncrowned champion, he wouldnt have been KO'd by Bacuedano and lost to three others while Pipino went on to be champion for 4 years-longer than Hearns, leonard, Benitez, Duran, Palomino and racking up the most defenses. To me that makes him the real champion and the best one since Napoles. All others just flash in the pans, especially Palomino. Even other hispanics have told me "Palomino never impressed me"

NBobody even talks about Palomino because he's not worth mentioning or even watching his fights but that's another story.

Palomino was quality. Tough as nails with a cracking left hook to the body. He's discussed a fair amount.
