Yes he did but Moore was a novice, hatton was open class at the time! Think it may have been an nabc match up! No shame hatton was a class amateur- jamie was local class apparently but I remember watching him and 'knowing' he was class even then

Hiya lads, yes that's right Rick stopped me in the 1st round as AM's.
He had won 5 national championships at schools and junior level and i was having my 9th fight. It was the regional finals and no one else would fight him at the time, but I had to be billy big bollox and fight him!! We we're 15 or 16 and that's how we became mates. He came over afterwards and said to stick at it coz i was decent and had balls(just beat me in the 1st and told me i was decent!!). Then we started training together the year after at the pheonix camp, and the rest is history. :good

You should post more often, Jamie. You've got a lot of fans on here and the other boxers who post on here are treated with a huge amount of respect by the regular posters (ignore the tits). Best of luck against Rhodes as well- I reckon you'll show everyone that you're a level above the European scene now:good.

Yep, I think everyone fancies you do to beat Rhodes which is saying something because Rhodes is very capable.

I reckon there will be floods of ESB money on Moore :D
