Vargas is trying to kick out his own mother from her own home.

    Vargas is probably going by his father's last name. His mother may have never married his father, or is going by her maiden name, or has remarried.

    I cant believe anyone has the nerve to comment strongly on such a personal issue they know only through a link through a boxing site, not knowing the type of people his parents (biological and step) are, knowing fernando's side of the story, ect, ect....
    You know little of the situation, or their relationship with eachother. I would at least wait to hear vargas's side of the story, if one chooses to even get involved in such a personal issue as this.

    But didn't Vargas hate his stepfather?That's the guy that wasbeating him.

    His biological dad went in prison when he was 1 year old and got out in 06 I believe.

    I don't know how this situation will turn out, but whoever said Vargas was classy outside of the ring? He's had trouble with the law and incidents outside of the ring, not to mention the steroid trouble. He's always seemed to have a bit of thug in him.

    Maybe he's using his biological father's name. To tell you the truth, I really don't know if that's his real mom. But the last name isn't enough to tell.

    true enough but there is a limit to what you can take from anyone including your parents.

    just because they are your parents doesnt mean that you are less important than them. if the reason is good enough she should be out. this was not a decision that vargas made on a whim.

    alot of parents abuse thier children mentally sexually and physically, so just because they gave birth to you doesnt always mean they are to be held in the highest respects.

    To be honest with you I dont think his mother was in his life while he was growing up, I beleive she recently re united with him just prior to or after the Trinidad fight....

    if its the woman im thinking of then its his real mom regardless of last name... you can tell by looking at her.

    But seriously... people are throwing the term 'mother' around too loosely imo. Anyone who has ****ed up parents know that 'dad' and 'mom' are titles earned, not just given to the people that ****ed and you happen to be born by them.

    People who dont truly have ****ed up biological birth parents probably wont understand that, hence couldnt understand how vargas could 'do such a horrible thing' because it was the mother that 'carried you' or whatever... but those who DO know what im talking about know it makes sense in a weird way.

    at any rate... im done with this topic because number 1 - its too personal... 2 - nobody here knows the real and whole situation
