This may sound crazy, but the worst I've seen was in women boxing. Ann Wolfe fought this tall white chick, and put her down with a single shot opening bell. She hit the mat as if she just dived out of a planewith out a parachute ......lol. She had to be carried out on a strecher and a brace on her neck. I don't think the girl ever fought again.:nono

Gatti looked like he is two weight divisions heavier than Gamache.
    That was brutal.

Two that come to mind and involve the same fighter:

Gerry Cooney brutally KOing Ken Norton

George Foreman brutally KOing Gerry Cooney

The worst ever, for me, is most definitely Emile Griffith killing Benny Paret. It was almost enough to put me off boxing forever.

Dude I tell you Alex Garcia -vs- Bernard Benton was like this except Garcia landed about 2 - 3 times more punches and was a 230 pound heavyweight. Benton's arms got stuck in the ropes and he was being held up by the ring, allowing Garcia to throw punch after punch while he was KO'd. I think Garcia actually decided to just stop throwing punches when he sensed Benton was out cold and Bernard slumped forward. Dammit I wish I could find this video to show you guys.

    Edit: Although Benton didn't die.

In more civilized times we would have all beaten that ****er to death.

    I'll second Paret-Griffith.

A lot of the ones I would mention have already been posted. But to add onto things, Ike Williams vs Beau Jack:
