    just heard on sky sports news ross the boss hes retired,due to too many injuries,all i can say is good luck to the fella in what ever he does next

    Sad News...Warrior...remember the Chas Symonds Fight in Elephant & Castle Leisure Centre....main event on Sky Southern Area Title Fight....A Poor Mans Hagler-Hearns but it was a special night.

    Was wondering about this the other day (I'd watched the Jennings fight).

    Anyway sad news always seemed a nice fella and was in some good fights.

    That Chas Symonds fight was so awesome with him hugging his dad afterwards. Sporting drama

    I thought he oozed class at times but the Jennings war was one of those rare crossroads affairs you get these days.
    Like his dad, Ross "The Boss" always got stuck in and was good to watch.

    He was very good. Not top level domestic but decent enough. The Chas Symonds fight was brilliant he looked a monster for a short period. Gave Jennings a decent fight too.

    He was always a fighter I enjoyed watching and he could mix with the top guys domestically. Well done Minter.
