Way to stir the pot I think Ward has a chance not a good one though of beating Kessler ...Dirrell on the other hand I think will get knocked the Froch out, as far as Taylor goes im unsure there's a lot of questions as to how Abraham will be at 168 but I do predict AA to KO Taylor mainly cause I cant imiagine Taylor not letting me down yet again and if AA does carry his power and is more active because maybe he was killing himself to make 160? it will be intersting not sure how AA will fair but im backing him.

 

reckon dirrell will outwork froch, much the same way taylor did, but will be able to keep it going for 12 rounds. andre dirrell UD.

 

if this happens, which i think it will, i think the touney could fall appart. The Ward/Dirrel/Taylor fights will all be seen as 2nd rate.

 

I like how this EUvUS thing has escalated. But I don't see either scenario happening (3-0 or 0-3), even if we say the Europeans are favourites I'd bet on there being at least one upset. I fancy Taylor to do a number on Abraham personally.

Hardly... In theory it IS possible of course that Taylor, Ward and Direll will draw against each other, but still this outcome would be highly unprobable... I'd say 0,1 % or something... So "quite possible" no way...

Is there a statistic about how often a draw happens in boxing? Just assuming out of 100 bouts maybe one, so 1 %, then 3 draws out of 9 bouts would mean 1 out of 3 or 33 %... Bit too high...

If I remember my math lessons correctly, if the probability of a draw in a single bout is 1 % then the probability of one draw out of three bouts is 2,97 %, and the probability of this happening 3 times in the row is virtually zero...

I think there's a possibility that either Ward or Dirrel will rise on the occasion in this tournament perhaps after a loss in the first round. I don't know about Taylor, the next few fights will show if he's on an irreversible decline. This is so hard to predict, and that's why it is so exciting. But I think you have to be a little nationalistic to say that 3-0 in favour of Europe is already a done deal. I think Europe goes 2-1.

 

i think the taylor fight will be close depending on if taylors satmina improves think he could win that 1....i also think dirrell mite hav a chance of outspeeding froch, personally tho if i was putting money on it id bet europe 2-1 after the 1st round
