What doesn't last forever is a man's physical prime. He can always finish his education, but a chance to get in the squared circle with a legend like Pacquiao lasts only for a short while.
I mean i applaud his decision. And what good is networking and all that if u arent victorious in the ring. he will succeed based on his work and determination. not sparring a few times. but i wish him much luck. education is where its at
Exactly, the college semester excuse is just that an excuse. The reason why he did'nt want to be a sparring partner is because he's a Cotto fan and a Puerto Rican, I'm pretty sure if Pac were fighting a non PR that he would have made the trip to be a sparring partner for Pac.
I don't think people are hurt....just surprised! I mean....PAC is the P4P champ. Offers like getting the chance to work with a legend don't come round too often. It's like turning down the chance to eat dinner with the president or your favorite entertianer/athlete.
I agree with this. I just think its hard for people here on ESB to wrap their heads around this bc if given the same opporunity most if not all would jump all over that. But too many times have boxers lost everything and had nothing to fall back on. I thnk the kid made a good decision....however. I would have taken off 8 wks to get the experience. School would be there. But to each their own, right?
He could have gone over for the weekend and still come back for his lectures.I like the kid's style though,he cool
I also think Henry being a Cotto fan played a roll in his decision not to spar with Pac. I wonder if he would have taken Cotto up on the same offer. :think
