Oh and Arena is a 5-10 minute walk from central station(train station).
the vanue is shite as well btw (metro arena is it?) although not worse then the excel center which is truly horrific
You're a tit - go up to manchester and see how many jews are in prestwich. hundreds of thousands. Jew or no jew salita is gettin his arse kicked come dec 5. Lets focus on the boxing not the religion please
From the little I've seen of Salita, this looks like a showcase fight for Kahn. A chance for him to shine before they take him over to the states.
meh it wasn't bad when I went to see Bill Bailey but I guess that's a completely different type of show.
I am thinking about how Sky and Frank can promote the PPV show and improve on the rumoured poor figures from the Khan-Kotelnik fight. Firstly I think that Sky could put the Williams-Pavlik fight with the Clottey-Quintana undercard on regular Sky. That way it doesn't touch the cut of money that FW or Khan would get and I think it is practical because you know that we will all watch and with Khan being on the same day a number of casuals will watch provided it gets a decent build up (or otherwise known as the Sky hype train). Also why not take a leaf out of UFC and do a portion of the card on regular Sky before the PPV begins. I'm thinking the three Olympians in six rounders and also have a number of hype videos for the Khan fight and the main undercard fights. Lets be honest we all have friends that are casaul fans and when ever I watch boxing with them all they are interested in is the Main event so why not put only 3 fights on the PPV (Khan-Salita, Clev euro, Mitchell-Burns) because those are the big fights that will make the boxing fans buy the card and all the casauls care about is Khan. By having the Olympians on regular Sky you would get them greater exposure then on the PPV you would also have them in 6 rounders rather then 4 and with their name recognition they bring maybe they could draw in a few casual fans to watch the show and after watching that and a few of the hype videos (that they lap up) buy the PPV. What does everybody think is it a feasable idea, would it be too costly to produce would it make much difference to a) increasing the PPV sales and b) making the Pavlik-Williams fight economically fight viable for Sky?
