It is hard to take someone's opinions to heart when they obviously go out of their way to demonstrate their hate for a fighter rather than any sound boxing analysis...
Don't worry about my disgust towards Paulie and focus on my well thought out argument here. People are supporting this cry baby, who he himself has gotten TWO GIFTS. When he fought Herman he fought him in his Backyard, and one of the backyard judges gave the fight to Paulie 117-111!!!!! He got pathetic a gift over Lovemore too!!!! This is a guy who's popularity stems from a couple of sever ass kickings on the hands of Cotto and Hatton. He is NOT popular for his wins, but for his losses. He then fights a blown up Lighweight, who imo should be fighting at S. Featherweight, can't beat him convincingly, and has the audacity to CRY robbery, when he's been the benefactor of corrupt judging, not once, but TWICE!!! Now he is DEMANDING this BLOWN UP LIGHTWEIGHT, go even further up in weight and fight Paulie at 140!!??? What a douche bag this Paulie *** is. And what's worse is that he has CONNED you and many others to support him. :-( Why don't you support Lovemore or Herman more????? :huh
As for N'dou- He certainly doesn't deserve a rematch! He as BLOWN OUT for 12 rounds against Paulie their first time out and only due to Politicing in the IBF was a rematch even warranted. As for Ngoudjo- I was a fan of the idea for a rematch. I'd still like to see it come to pass! In that case though, he was challenging Paulie for a title and the close rounds were given to the champion. In our case today with Diaz, we see Paulie, on the enemy's homefield, Catch weight to favor Diaz, Small ring size, Taking short money, Stacked judging and at least 6 rounds that should have been EASILY given to Paulie even with some bias- and despite that... him losing by an absurd margin. What would a newcomer to the sport of boxing think as they watched their first fight in this one? "Oh, so it doesn't really matter who hits more times or gets hit more... it doesn't even matter who has more visible damage, let alone ring generalship. .. I guess it's whoever the crowd is more behind and in whose ring the fight takes place, and what promorters are playing what cards..." It is bad for boxing.
I think GBP should find another opponent for the baby bull!! I dont want to see him fight paulie again!! Paulie is boring as hell!!!!
incredibe how Dibella and Pauli can get rematches and if they dont, still get people behind them crying foul while the Collazo's of the world dont get dick. Dibella seems to be able to swing a lot.
collazo got 3 very big fights within a short time (hatton, mosley and berto). and he lost them all. most fighters who lose, ESPECIALLY as one sided as he lost to mosley, don't get another chance. he did against berto and screwed it up by pulling a jameel mccline: doing everything he could to pull out a loss. as for diaz, **** him. ****ing clown shoe clearly lost the fight with paulie now he's bitching out. what a shock. you could tell by the post fight interview he was not giving paulie credit for the win and if a fighter won't even acknowledge how "close" it was, he sure knows he isn't in the mood for a rematch
What a crock! Of course he freakin deserves the rubber match, he freakin beat Paulie in the 2nd fight!!!! The same **** you're crying about against Diaz!atsch BULL****, Herman Ngoudjo won. You even know it. He took the titles but the corrupt judges in Paulies backyard protected him. But all of a sudden you're not petitioning for a rematch...Why? Because Paulie will get his ass kicked again by a legit WW, instead you want Juan Diaz (a small Lightweight) to rematch Paulie a full blown WW??? Do you realize your double standards???? Do you realize that Herman was robbed in Jersey, Paulies backyard. Do you realize one of the Jersey judges gave the damn fight to Paulie 117-111!!!!!!!!!!! You have to be consistant in your judgement, otherwise it's just nuthugging or hating. Double Standards....Paulie fought in Jersey against Herman Ngoudjo, and like I already mentioned, even one of the judges gave the damn fight to Paulie at 117-111. As for the CATCHWEIGHT, 138????!!! Are you serious, Juan Diaz is a small LW, Juan Diaz imo should be fighting at 130, where as Paulie is a 140 pounder, and it is apperant that the catchweight favored Paulie, because it increases his power and decreases Diaz's power. And the ***** still could put away the LW! That's what happens when you earn your right to call some shots. Who the hell has Paulie beat to make him a shot caller????? How many gifts has Paulie received????? How large is Paulie's following? How many people tune in to watch Paulie? How much money does Paulie generate?? Do you understand why Diaz had the upper hand in negotiations? He eraned it!!!! Sure dude, no one can deny that one of the judges had it wasy off, but the EXACT same thing can be said aout one of the Jersey judges in the Paulie v Herman fight where he had it a ridiculous 117-111 for Paulie. BUT WE DON"T HEAR YOU demand a rematch or crying foul, or signing a petition do we??? No. Why, because Herman is not a ***** like Paulie. What would a NEWCOMER to boxing think??? That Malignaggie is fighting like a scared *****, who has no balls, that he belongs in a Balet class, and that Boxing sucks if everyone fights like him. Seriously...Or do you think the NEWCOMER would appreciate Malignaggie's boring ass defensive style?????:huh Like I said, your using double standards here, Paulie is acting like a total *****, being a hypocrite, thinking he is something, when his claim to fame is getting a brutal ass kicking by Cotto and Hatton, in other words Paulie is known for being a failure. and he has received not one GIFT, but TWO GIFTS, and people like you fall for his antics and defend him to no end, turning a blind eye to reality.
If it was a close fight i could understand how a rematch would be warranted but this fight wasnt even close. So i say NO on a rematch!
really kind of surprised that the 19th isn't considered as a potential fight day. as of course you heard that proposed Mosley-Clottey bout which eventually would be scrapped. was supposed to be on the 26th (dumb to have it day after x-mas) but the 19th would seem like a good event day. **despite the Pavlik-Williams fight on the 5th there's no other really huge fights happening, kind of strange to see that for December. granted Salita-Khan, Peterson-Bradley and now Diaz-Malignaggi are all set to happen in December but besides the Williams-Pavlik fight nothing huge happening.
