I grew up in Windsor, Ontario, across from Detroit. The frenzy Tommy Hearns caused began my interest in boxing. Even as a little kid, it was a HUGE deal.
REUBEN OLIVARIES carlos palomino ALEXES ARGEULO THESE WERE A SIGHT TO SEE.THEY WERENT LOOKING FOR CATCHWEIGHT FIGHTS:good
Mike Tyson made me a casual long ago and I only paid attention to what he did. Shane Mosley made me a hardcore fan when he fought and beat DLH in 2000. Lennox Lewis vs Evander Holyfield was another fight I discussed a lot.
Naseem Hamed, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank. When i was a kid they were all brilliant, great fighters and larger than life personalities. Not too many guys like that around today to get people interested sadly.
Unless you were 6, to be honest, that's just sad. If it hooked you as a very young kid, fine, but c'mon... there had to be a real boxer that did it.
