I grew up in Windsor, Ontario, across from Detroit. The frenzy Tommy Hearns caused began my interest in boxing. Even as a little kid, it was a HUGE deal.

I go back to the '40s. It's still Robinson, Louis, Pep and Graziano for me.

Mike Tyson made me a casual long ago and I only paid attention to what he did.

Shane Mosley made me a hardcore fan when he fought and beat DLH in 2000.

Lennox Lewis vs Evander Holyfield was another fight I discussed a lot.

Naseem Hamed, Nigel Benn and Chris Eubank. When i was a kid they were all brilliant, great fighters and larger than life personalities. Not too many guys like that around today to get people interested sadly.

Like most of my generation, I think, it all started with Ali!

Unless you were 6, to be honest, that's just sad. If it hooked you as a very young kid, fine, but c'mon... there had to be a real boxer that did it.
