Ive heard many scorecards for that fight, 90% pick Morales as a 7-5 winner, some go with the draw & some go with an 8-4 Morales win, not even 1% pick Pac as a winner.... you sir, are truly in the minority

 

Yeah, Hatton is the same way with 140, I think he should still fight, but once he cant make 140 anymore he is ****ed because he isnt effective at 147 at all.

No it didn't. Morales won that fight clearly going into the last round in which he gave to pac. What indicated pac could win against Morales was Morales loss against an average fighter in Raheem.

 

That 132 was asked by Morales at the third fight i think. You are using hindsight to base your premises that DOESN"T exist during the fight.

Pac move up from 122 to 130 within the span of 2 years. Of course Roach and his team are apprehensive in moving up in weight again. It was Morales who decided to exercise his rematch option so he has come at the agreed weight.

Now you are using the weight arguement since Pac moved so far up, but that will come a two years later. At that moment nobody was sure how well he'll perform past featherweight.

And Addie you're claiming that Eric was declining when he moved up to 126. That's bull****. If you are not as dominant as in the lower weight class your declining? Maybe because you can't effectively bring your assets into the new weight class, not because there's a physical and skills decline. You are overstreching it. Morales was not as heavy-handed, slower, less dominating at 126 and 130 because he is not as physically imposing as he was in 122, not because he was declining. PLEASE make the distinction. There are too many decline, shot, faded, etc. excuses around here.

Yeah, Morales won clearly but still it was a close fight inspite of the fact that Pac fought with only one eye for most of the fight!

 

Pac was winning the fight before the cut in the 5th. After that cut Morales practically swept the 2nd half of the fight and then gave him the 12th.

 

I agree with your post except for the first part. Morales was ahead going into the fifth and at worst was tied at two rounds a piece with pac. No way was pac ahead, you need to watch the fight again.
