What I've said is, Floyd the favorite to win over Oscar... With that in consideration, you can't say that "Floyd took a massive shot against De La Hoya with the odds stacked against him"...

How's the odds stacked against Floyd when he was the installed favorite??:huh How can it be considered a "massive shot" when Floyd is expected to defeat Dela Hoya??:huh

And you don't consider what Oscar did as stacking the odds in his favor?:?

YES that's true but it was NOT enough to make up for the already big advantage of Floyd over Oscar... You CAN'T say that Floyd was against heavy odds since Floyd was still the favorite on fight night... Check the betting odds of that fight dude...

I wonder if the dumb **** will remember the few hundred grand it cost him when he's broke and too old to fight any more.

Betting odds don't equal reality, yes on this night it worked out but on many occasions it has not, Do you remember when a 40-1 underdog named Buster Douglas beat the unbeatable Mike Tyson? Betting odds simply means that this is who people are picking to win that's all... Floyd gave up alot in that fight and still he gets no credit. Pac didn't have to give up nothing to Oscar but money...

Betting odds is not the ultimate assessment of an upcoming fight but betting odds are correct most of the time... Of course upsets happened and there's so many considerable upsets already taking place...

You can have more success in gambling by sticking to a given betting odds than betting against the odds... Good if you can correctly spot an upset since you could make a killing by betting on the underdog...;)

Well it was very irresponsible.. But its not like he was trying to be responsible to make the weight.. For all we know, he was trying to make it as he sees fit right from day one.
