What ever we may think of Amir's fightgame you've gotta hand it to him, the kids woven from that "old skool" cloth in that you'll never see him enjoying the temptations of life (beer, cigarettes, weed, red meat, etc) in-between fights or after a disappointing loss. He stay's close to his scale weight even in 6 month downtimes by being a gym rat and eating vegetables and not clubbing and chasing after the skirts. That's why he may still be relevent even with his obvious flaws.

Ok then, do not be tempted to walk to any of the bars from the train station to the arena as it is the gay district (unless that's your thing).

Most people would probably go to Gotham Town but I recommend The Telegraph although having to walk through that ****-stinking tunnel under the railway tracks to get there is awful

Decent pubs near the station: Telegraph (through the tunnel), Head of Steam (across the road and open till 3am I think), The Forth (across the road on Pink Lane), Tilley's/Bodega (on Westgate Road at the end of Pink Lane).

The promotion for this fight could be headline news in the right (or wong!) hands. Unfortunately Salita and Khan both seem like nice polite young boys so it will be very tame. If only they could transplant the personalities of Bernard Hopkins and James Toney into them for the event :happy

I see a 24/7 style event over the six days leading up to the fight (working title: six day war). They could reenact historical events finishing off with Khan throwing rocks at Salita at the last press conference followed by Salita showing up at Khan's house in a bulldozer, knocking the house down and annexing half the front garden.

    Calling Frank Warren now....
