    Tim Witherspoon.

Especially if we're taking into account the condition that Sanders was in during the year of 2004. He was 38 years of age, fighting on average once per year and showing up at deconditioned weights. A 1983 Spoon would have had both the chin and the stamina to out last Sanders and stop him late.

Sanders only chance is early because he fades after 2 rounds, I can't see Spoon getting taken out in 2 (Smith fight aside)

Witherspoon is too good and too good a set of whiskers. Sanders has a chance, of course, but the money is on Timmy...

Any later period TW, though, and we get the ***** tit issue and there were plenty of times Sanders could have done the trick.

Sanders doesn't have the stamina at this point to make it competitive beyond three rounds.
For that period he is dangerous, but after that it's all Spoon.
Witherspoon stops Sanders in five or six rounds, imo.
