I know its been reported but i need something cleared up. 3 judges scored the fight by watching a DVD of the fight with no sound. Is this correct? How did each judge score the fight?
So two of the three judges that scored the review gave it to Geale by whatever margin? That makes Geale Mundines No 1 mandatory for the belt?
Everybody knows Grale lost because he kept missing......and when he did land them it was on the gloves and arms.....next time around Geale wont get up :yep
The main discrepency is between the judges at hand on the night of the fight, and those at hand on the night of the investigation is simple.... No one expected an uproar afterwards of the fight night. Geale DID not win the fight.
True, I disliked the comments mid fight from khoder and the allegations of judge intimidation by mundines "crew" which only goes to take away from his valid accomplishments inside the ring.
Storm remind me of that Aussie Ice Skater that won gold at the Olympics when the 3 infront of him fell over **** Storm
The scores on the review were pretty much identical to the cards on the night except that the 3rd judge scored the fight 114-113 to Gealey instead of Choc. All 3 judges would have had to have scored the fight for Daniel for an immediate re-match to have been ordered, he was made mandatory because of the close nature of the fight (Ed had it a draw 114-114).
On the night I had Mundine by 2. Next time on the tellybox I had Mundine by 2. I watched and scored it about a month after to Geale by 2
