    M A Barrera v Rojas. won the fight but he headbutted and cut barrerra open just before a showdown with Amir khan

    Shanon Briggs vs Darroll Wilson in 1996. Even if Wilson was undefeated in 17 bouts, he was presented as a lamb for the up and coming Briggs who was 24-0 with 23 Kos (and who was in line for a title shot...) Briggs was ko'ed in 3!

    How in the hell was Pavlik/Hopkins a tune-up?

    Lehlohonolo Ledwaba was supposed to be the next big star from africa until the last minute replacement Pacquiao destroyed him.

    Thats why most High Profile fighters wont fight the unknowns. **** the fighter themselves dont even know **** about them

    Hate to admitt it but thats a great one. Everyone thought Roy would pick up a easy win and the IBF title to set up a huge 3rd fight with Tarver in December. I remember them interviewing Tarver in the crowd he said he was holding up his Roy Jones pam pams hoping he would win.

    Viloria-Nino I

    Viloria was on course to have a big unification fight with Koki Kameda in Japan all he had to do was beat Nino who was a voluntary defense (rated #15).

    If not a tune-up, then he was supposed to at least be an "opponent" that Morales would walk through, to help build the hype for a rematch with Pacquiao, who was also on the card.

    The fight happened anyway though.
