They are fighting for a second time, not a third.

Shanon Briggs vs Darroll Wilson in 1996. Even if Wilson was undefeated in 17 bouts, he was presented as a lamb for the up and coming Briggs who was 24-0 with 23 Kos (and who was in line for a title shot...) Briggs was ko'ed in 3!

Lehlohonolo Ledwaba was supposed to be the next big star from africa until the last minute replacement Pacquiao destroyed him.

Hate to admitt it but thats a great one. Everyone thought Roy would pick up a easy win and the IBF title to set up a huge 3rd fight with Tarver in December. I remember them interviewing Tarver in the crowd he said he was holding up his Roy Jones pam pams hoping he would win.

    Viloria-Nino I

Viloria was on course to have a big unification fight with Koki Kameda in Japan all he had to do was beat Nino who was a voluntary defense (rated #15).

    Morales-Raheem.

If not a tune-up, then he was supposed to at least be an "opponent" that Morales would walk through, to help build the hype for a rematch with Pacquiao, who was also on the card.

    The fight happened anyway though.
