Now Vitali have 2 losses to Bryd in which Vitali was injured badly and Lewis in which Vitali have a very bad cut over the left eye. But lets erase that and switch to Lewis resumes, would Vitali record be a great one with lewis resumes? Or would he have 2 losses like his resumes or more then that? Behonest people.
Prime Vitali beats the versions of Tyson and Holyfield Lewis fought, they were washed up regardless of what Lewis fans say. Vitali would never have been KO'd by Rahman. He would have KO'd him. Bruno would have been crippled. Tua is the only fight I would honestly be worried about Vitali in. Tua when Lewis fought him was a badass and Lewis did very very well in that fight I thought to survive the early onslaught but then Vitali is even bigger than Lewis so maybe he beats Tua too. Vitali certainly wouldn't have looked as bad vs Mayrovic as Lewis did either.
Briggs coulad have been dangerous he had early round KO ability but the rest nah Vitali would beat them lets be honest although Vitali wouldn't have dominated Golota like Lewis did Lewis was far far too methodical in that fight & Vitali is too cautious to kill like Lewis did. I love that fight. Golota was made to look so incredibly schooled it was embarrassing. It all comes down to styles at the end of the day.
Well, at some point he would have had an injury in a fight as he did agianst Byrd, anynbody still standing could have beaten him. He wouldn't get knocked out cold since he would never underestimate an opponent, as Lewis udnerestimated Rahman. Mavrovic would have been a problem, close, ugly fight.
interesting question. I think Vitali would have beaten Mccall and Rahman. Vitali is basically as good as Lewis but perhaps more focused and more calculating. Lewis was more of a beast when he wanted to be.
In my opinion, Vitali would've probably lost a few more fights. I think a young MCcall would have been a handful for Vitali. He had (has) an iron chin and a good punch. I also think Razor Ruddock might have given him some problem. Oh, and Tony Tucker. In fact, I think most of Lewis's most difficult fights (for Vitali) occured earlier in his career. Yes, he'd beat old Holyfield and Tyson. Yes, he'd beat Golota and Grant. Yes he'd beat Marovich and Rachman. Althugh, Tua might be a problem.
Grant would've been a tougher fight for Vitali because he doesn't have the kind of punching power Lewis did, but I'm pretty sure he'd be able to wear Grant down and win by TKO in 8-10 rounds.
