Murray isnt an over hyped, multi millionaire that is lauded as a legend of the sport.thats the difference!
Murrays last four fights, whilst a step up from his usual fodder, have not been any better than Salitas standard of opponent. A shop worn and virtually shot Thaxton and an ill Lee Meager both retired straight after facing Murray, JM took longer to finish a game Lawton than Khan did, and McAllister should have pushed the Manc harder but just seemed to be content with ****ing about...its not a sparkling record, and certainly no better than Salitas.
Murray is happy shouting his mouth and fighting nobodies. When he takes he step up in his career he may hopefully get the chance to one day sharte a ring with Khan but Murray will probably still be fighting Thaxtons, Lawtons and Meagers in another 28 fights. I know people like to bash Khan but it is really pathetic.
I dont like him but the question is a genuine one.Salita is just another featherfisted opponent that Murray would probably crush!
Then I'm afraid you don't have a point...if the standard of record is similar then the only difference can be top class promotion, and that has got **** all to do with Khan, Warren or Salita....ask the WBA what there criteria is for selecting a mandatory challenger
Murray is better and will go further than Salita.Murray is a risk to Khan,Salita isnt. And isnt it sad that its all about promotion not the best fighters meeting. Why not the best 2 british fighters at their weights meeting instead of a no mark that we will never here of again after this fight?
