Without doubt. He has the perfect style for Floyd. Intelligent pressure, punches in combos, unlimited stamina and chin, and heavy heavy hands. At 135 i really do think he puts a beating on Mayweather.

I think Chavez would have put a world of hurt on him. Chavez would beat him so bad he would talk like his uncle.

Floyd would never have fought Chavez, Whitaker, Camacho, Duran, Leonard, and Trinidad.

Floyd would beat Chavez the way Pernell beat him. He is too slick and defensive for him.

thats like Chavez vs. Taylor. Only question is would Mayweather have made it to the 12? Meldrick Taylor was one tough guy!

PBF is too slick for Chavez who struggled with speed and defense. PBF would do what Taylor and Pea did to him. Like I've said a thousand times the boxer beats the puncher and history agrees with me. JCC isn't going to KO PBF and he's not going to outbox him either he losses by UD.

chavez would have definitely tried to take the fight to mayweather but it wouldn't have been enough. number one, floyd is too slick and defensive a fighter for chavez to hurt him. second, nobody has ever figured out how to hurt mayweather and i don't think chavez would have either. the thing is this, floyd jr. is just too tall for chavez and his long reach would have given him fits. it would have been a good fight but floyd jr. wins by close UD.

Floyd would just outbox Chavez to a clear UD in my mind.
