Say this version of events occurs.

The Mosley vs Floyd fight makes too much money not to go ahead, they agree to a deal for early next year, Floyd beats Mosley convincingly.

(Cue Mosley was old, Mosley was past it)

Pacquaio gets beaten by Cotto in a dominant performance by Cotto, Cotto then signs to fight Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Floyd Mayweather Jr comprehensively outboxes Cotto to a 12 round decision.

(Cue Cotto was schooled by Margarito, cherry picked a far too light Pacquaio)

Meanwhile, Paul Williams wins the title at 160, Floyd signs to fight Paul Williams at a 155 catch weight for the Middleweight title.

Floyd boxes his way to a 12 round decision, using distance and counter punching to do it

(Cue FLOYD RAN ALL FIGHT LONG)

Does anyone honestly think these Floyd haters would shut the **** up and **** off even under these circumstances? I don't.

Fight Mosley next and then if he wins fight the Pac-Cotto winner.

Sorry but if PBF fights those guys, most haters will let the hate go. It's nothing personal with me or most of the other haters. They just want to see him test himself. That's all.

Which is likely to occur, and when he beats all of those - what will your excuse be?

Do you honestly believe any of those fighters beat Floyd? If you do, you're ****ing stupid.

You're answering your own question. Most of us do think he can beat pretty much everyone he faces but he CHOOSES not to take on the challenges.

Mayweather needs to get his punk ass in the ring with the man he blatently ducked Tony Margarito. IF & its a big IF he wins then he fights Mosely. Then Mosely & Margarito fight a rematch.

No they won't they will come with excuses about the fighter's were shot or say that he ran his way to a win. PBF has been beating guys from 130-154 and for some he's still a fraud and hasn't proven anything yet despite being undfeated, linear in 3 weights and title belts in the others.:-(

There will always be a few irrational haters but the general boxing fan will give credit where its due. It's always that way.

Whats with all the anger, chill out.

Every fighter will always have a group of people that hate him.

But the reason Floyd doesn't get respect of most boxing fans is that people can see there are great fights out there and that they are not happening.

If he starts taking a few of those fights most boxing fans will respect him.

The problem is he should have already earned respect for what he did at the lower weights everything now should be gravy since he made his legacy at 130.:deal

He just fought the P4P #2 - instead of giving him ANY credit for dominating the guy, all anyone talks about is the weight.

3 ****ing pounds does NOT make a difference in a fight where neither guy is a noted KO puncher.
