in my opinion tyson all the way hes clearly more fit, fast, and just a monster plus tua is a brawler tyson is in the dictionary under brawler Tyson is the best brawler who ever lived (in my opinion) i want 2 here want any body elses opinion is on this This content is protected This content is protected
tyson wins based on movement, punch variety, head movement, superior defense and sustained pressure based on combinations in and out. he picks up points by bobbing and weaving in, flurrying to the head and body and avoiding tua's bombs he never hurts david and some rounds are close as tyson needs to get in close to do damage and david will punch through the punishment but it isn't enough. Tyson UD 9-3
i don't see this. Tua doesn't knocked out. Prime tyson had the greatest combination of speed and power of any heavyweight i've seen and maybe he'd hurt Tua but when he didn't get the knockout he'd get discouraged. He'd rake up points but the knockout would elude him
Tyson couldn't finish Tillis & green in his prime yet he'd ko Tua ? Tyson was defeated by Douglas , outboxed by Botha (still koed him though) and would **** Tua ? Tua lasted the distance vs Lennox but Tyson couldn't. (waiting for the "past prime" excuse...) still doesn't change the fact that he couldn't finish Tillis & green though. And that was in 86. Him KOing Tua (who's got one of the best chin in boxing)...seems a bit of an exaggeration imo. It would be an interesting fight but i doubt Tua would be treated like a can. Maybe Tyson would grab a UD...
dude, is that a joke?? tyson defined brawling. if anything he made brawling into a science. their was never a HW that threw with bad intentions like he did.
true, mike was WAY past it still, i can't recall mike taking out anyone with near tua's chin. holmes probably had the best chin and he was known more for his recuperative powers than granite chin tyson'd get frustrated and box and gut out his way to a win
I see Tyson taking this by KO, by the third or fifth round. Tua is a tough cookie, but I don't see him standing up to Tyson combinations for very long, especially if it's a few uppercuts. Tyson better foot work, head movement, and speed. Power is debatable, but everything else is all Tyson.
I, like a lot tend towards thinking Tyson takes a hard fought UD. What's interesting to me is that while Tua's whiskers have been brought up a few times no-one seems to have stopped to wonder what Mike would do if Tua landed that left hook...
