No big deal Vitali will win this and the fight the winner of haye/valuev...hope its a great fight.

It would be interesting to see the footwork in a fight between VK and Valuev, also hope haye does well and stirs the pot...but Vitali would outwork Haye an were him down for a late KO or TKO.

But Haye does have those thuderous combo's which worked well for him early in fights, if he could stun vitali then overwelm him with a barrage of punches forcing the ref to stop the bout, it would be his best chance

  2. Thanks for the lead in Rico. Kevin is very poised and ready to defeat Klitschko. He will give VK fits, unlike alot of other fighters, Kevin Johnson does have knowledge of the Klitschko brothers. KJ served as a sparring partner for both brothers, and is confident that he will win. Put Dec 12 on your calendar, Kevin Johnson will put up one helluva fight, and WIN the fight.:happy:happy:happy

Toney wouldn't be accepted by neiter HBO nor RTL (Klitz's German TV station). Toney could try and get another 2-3 wins under his belt, then he could get a mandatory shot.

Yeah, I don't know anyone who would take a Toney fight seriously.

It's great to see another fight so soon.

If he kept this up, it would be 4 fights a year! That would be pretty cool.

  13. KINGPIN has great defense
    above average foot work
    Constantly stays in shape
Great stamina (can go 12 easily with Vit Klit)
More power than his record indicates
Is one of the fastest HWs
has sparred with top elite fighters including the Klits

    so STFU

So, you think Vitali is a good 'tune-up' fight?

I think the real target for Vitali is the winner of Valuev vs Haye. Maybe he is planning on leaving the mandatory fight against Maskaev to be paired in the same card with the winner of that fight against mandatory John Ruiz, with the winners meeting up next in an unification.

Vitali vs Maskaev = boring fight
Haye/Valuev vs Ruiz = boring fight
Vitali vs Maskaev + Haye/Valuev vs Ruiz = interesting card.
