    My favourit "padded record" answer: Vaughn Bean. Multiple title shots, over 50 fights, 45 wins and he didn't once beat a live fighter. Not one.

    Before his first title shot he'd beaten 3(!!!!) guys with winning records (they were 7-4, 3-2-1, 5-3-1). For his second shot, he added an 11-8.

    It's the most mind-boggling thing you can imagine. Makes Aerreola, Fields, Mesi look like supermen.
