    Basicly from what the fans here have said, what Floyd himself has said, is that the 24/7 series is supposed to be about Floyd Mayweather, its supposed to be his pre fight build up show...

    Pacquiao Cotto is getting a 24/7 series, usally they do countdown to pac vs Cotto, whats the deal?

    Floyd makes 24/7 great I love watchin him train but they have also done de la hoya-pac which was pretty gud, pac-hatton which was ok and calzaghe-jones which was crap and that was mostly calzaghe's fault. 24/7 is great though at gettin you excited for a fight, can't wait to pac-cotto 24/7 starts.

    i kinda prefer countdowns myself but whatever.... as long as their doing a hypeshow im down.

    I thought Floyd fans have stated this is his series..... I just wanted to clarify, do the people who have said that still beleive that? cus it has been said here.

    Yeah I missed them thought it was countdowns to those fights and I was mislead by the Floyd fans.:verysad

    Who ever said it was Floyd's series? Again, there have been 3 24/7 shows without Floyd. Supposedly Floyd is the one who originally came up with the idea of the show, but it's not like he owns the show. I've never seen anyone say anything to that effect.

    Floyd calls it "his show" because he was featured on the first 24/7 (along with DLH). Basically HBO now uses Countdown for "medium-big" fights and 24/7 for what are perceived to be "megafights".

    i dont think it was eather guys creation. Its a very natural expansion upon the already existing 'countdown' show.... the format was already there, they just incresed the countdown from one show, to three.
