Did you even read my post? I'm not interested in a Spinks fight. The guy I responded to shot down the fight by saying that Floyd needs to fight a WW. However, that's flawed thinking in IMO. Floyd doesn't need to fight a WW, he needs to fight good fighters that the fans are interested in seeing. Pac is not a WW, neither is Paul Williams. However, those would both be great fights that the fans would be interested in. It doesn't matter what weight class Spinks fights in, what matters is that the fans don't want to see that fight.

Mosley, the winner of Pac-Cotto or Williams, these are the fighters that real boxing fans want to see him against anything else is cherrypicking.

Well, if Berto beats Mosely, that fight isn't cherrypicking. A fight with Spinks isn't cherry picking either, it's just a fight that no one is interested in.

cory spinks is a legit fighter who was in ther with middleweights. Also when was the last time you saw floyd fight another slick boxer that. floyd ducks black fighters with skilll.

There really is no way around it. If it aint the winner of Pac-Cotto or Mosley, he should retire again.

Maybe because Spinks is bigger, is a champion, is left handed, and is a pretty good boxer in his own right. Mayweather would have no clear size or stylisitc advantages.

Spinks is past his best he looked like **** against Latimore and lost to old man Phillips not only wouldnt he have a chance in hell of beating fraud but this would the biggest track meeting since the last athletics world championships.

Mosley,Cotto-Pac winner or Williams ,if he doesnt want to fight those its better for boxing that he retires and dedicates himself to reality shows.

    Would **** me off.

Spinks was a possible opponent in 2006 to prepare for DLH at 147 and they passed on it since the public showed no interest and demanded that Mayweather fights and beats the #1 welter Baldomir to prove he's #1 after not being able to get a fight with Hatton at 140 for the lineal title. I don't see why he will turn it down now when it's pointless, at least Spinks had the IBF title in 2006, he has nothing now.

The public demanded Mayweather vs Baldo?
