Any of you comparing Vitali Klitschko to Primo Carnera need to find a new sport to follow because boxing isn't for you.

I haven't even voted yet because Louis is my all time favorite Heavyweight, but in reality he would be considered a Cruiserweight by today's standards.

Let's not forget The Brown Bomber's patented short right cross or his great handspeed & ATG jab.

Vitali hits from all angles, with power & he has incredible stamina to go with his great defense.

    I don't know...................

I have to say buddy, i don't really know why people say this. If we take Louis's core fights he was 200 plus for 4/5 of them.

Still, he was 6'2" tall & barely over 200 lbs. That was considered a big guy back in the day.

What's your point? Size means nothing.

Yeah, i know he was considered a big(ish) guy back then, but 6'2 and over 200 plus is a HW. Louis could certainly have come down and fought at CW today, he was very sharp under 200. But equally (and i know it's an old argument, and i'm sure me and you don't want to have it here) he could have come up a bit...six foot two and 210, with that kind of offence? I don't think, if you were managing this fighter you would feel the need to hold him at 200 for too long, would you?

Carnera wasn't nearly as good as Vitali. That is a fact.

    Technically? Carnera takes it.
Vitali's power is overated too, the last guy he kod who was rated was Herbie Hide 10 years ago, he hits respectably but wears his man down, in a war of attrition, he is NOT a BLASTER.
Pressure him and he flaps his arms like a demented Albatross, a fast heavy who moves his head and can bang will find him out.
A BIG FISH IN A LITTLE POND.

Liston lost to Marshall, arguably should've lost to Sudenberger (twice) and had a close fight with Machen. Ali struggled with various "inferior" opponents like Jones, Cooper and Mildenberger. Louis you are right about, though.
