    "The fight that should be made is Mayweather and Shane Mosley, but Mayweather won't take that fight. He won't take any fight where there is any possibility where he might lose,".

    "He will not take a chance like a normal fighter. He cares more about being able to retire undefeated so he could say that he never lost a fight". Although Arum has stated on several occasions that he would love to make a mega-fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather, the chances of that happening are slim if the two fighters aren't willing to share the purse equally.

    "If I start hearing 60/40, that just tells me to hang up and move on to the next guy," Arum remarked, making it clear that Mayweather would not be getting the lion's share of the purse should the fight get made. That being said, Arum does have a backup plan for the man that wins on November 14th, "I think Pacquiao and Cotto should give Mosley some serious consideration."

    Of course he says this. The last thing Arum wants is for Floyd to beat up one of his cash cows.

    :huh Surely he'd rather have Floyd face Cotto/Pacquiao, as he stands to make money off it (regardless of whether his guy loses or not). If Floyd opts for Mosely, Arum would get nothing.

    So for him to say Floyd should fight Mosely, is an honest assessment from his part

    Arum would rather not make the money on that fight than see Mayweather beat Pac or Cotto. He seems to a genuine hate for Mayweather. I don't even know how anyone could call this an honest assesment. Cotto already beat Mosley, so why would Mayweather need to fight Mosley over Cotto?

    No he wont, he dont have to if Manny wins over Cotto, Manny is clearly in the drivers seat...
    you better beleive that with Roach in the mix, Floyd will not get a bigger share, and he will have to come down to a catch weight.... there will be no paying X amount for each additional Pound with Manny.....

    if Floyd truely wants this fight, he is going to have to humble himself and take lesser money and come in at the contracted weight they agree on or it just isnt happening..

    if Manny Pacquiao wins here against Cotto ( Which I dont see happening) but if he does, he can retire and will be known as one of the best P4P fighters that ever laced up a set of gloves, he would rank higher than Mayweather

    No he wont,he doesnt need him he can make pac-cotto rematch and still earn a lot of money.

    And without Cotto or Pac who is fraud going to fight that doesnt make him look like the cherrypicker that he is?Mosley?

    We all know he will never ever fight Mosley.
