Bull****... Castillo is barely a jabber...and he was what many (not me) consider a win over Floyd. Besides, Cotto MAY be damaged good, which you refuse to acknowledge. Shane had one of the most impressive wins of the year and is a natural opponent. Read articles other then just those on the asskissing Btalk, and you'll see why many consider Mosley the most dangerous opponent for Floyd right now.
The jab helps but its not essential. The problem for most fighters is that they only throw one or 2 punches at the time against PBF and you can't do that to beat him. You need to take one or 2 to unleash your combos ! the jab would just help to come inside... Mosley can sustain anything Mayweather dishes out in order to throw his own...
I disagree with some of you guys ... outside of Cotto vs Mayweather ... Mayweather vs Mosley can break the record for PPV buys ... Mosley is blk ... he's strong, athletic, fast ... and an accomplished - legit welterweight ... the promotion for this fight would be huge and the 24/7 would be the best one yet ... I think that both fighters are marketable ... I don't think Mosley brings much to the table - but the thought that he's as good, if not better than anyone Mayweather has fought ... he can match Mayweather in speed ... Mosley might not be the "B" side fighter he once was, but giving it more thought, Mosley might be a good choice for a big money fight. Its only a matter of pricing himself out ...
Bull**** ! Cotto had awesome timing against a guy that let him fight at the perfect pace..that was the problem ! Mosley could and should have thrown his fast combos to keep Cotto on the back foot all night instead of standing there and try to land the big one:deal
Cotto should he beat Pacquiao and fight Mayweather ... together (with Floyd) would produce at least 2-3m PPV buys ... especially if the undercard is done right.

Shane's win was impressive becasue Margarito was overhyped especially coming off the cotto win. But it doesnt change the fact that Margarito was a terrible fighter with no skills who loaded his gloves. I dont have to read articles to see what other people are saying. I am very knowledgeable about the sport and form my opinions. Mayweather is ligh years ahead of Margarito in terms of class. He is too good a boxer for Shane.

While you're trying to petition for a Shane fight, the chances of it happening are very slim and next in line is the winner of Cotto vs Pacquiao ... lets just pray that its Cotto because I would rather see that fight, than see him outbox Pacquiao. Shane is the last option ... money doesn't have much to do with it ... its a matter of chance ... and Shane lost his a long time ago ... now he's in the twilight of his career, in his late 30's and search for that one last big payday. I'm not saying that he's not worthy but he does have a bit of an up hill climb ... if he's able to beat a few guys ... maybe unify some titles, then maybe by the end of 2010 he'll be able to pull off a fight but he has to get the train going.
