Mayweather have tried to make a fight with Shane on two occasions and both times Shane did not take it. I agree that they should fight and would really like to see it happen, but was Shane being called a coward when he turned Floyd down? Shane needs him right now to cement his spot in boxing history. So Floyd is making him wait the same way Shane made him wait. Now as far as Pac goes. He is good, but he's not great. Should Mayweather get more of the purse? I would say based off of popularity he should, but being that Arum is not trying to hear that. I think Floyd should take the 50/50 split, beat the crap out of Pac, just to shut Arum and the rest of the doubters up. That way his next fight he don't have to worry about spliting evenly with no one else, because there's no other fighter in the sport that's more popular then he is.

It seems like everyone thinks Mosley/May needs to face Pac/Cotto. That from a historical standpoinjt would be the biggest p4p matchups in a long time. You could have 4 out of the top ten fighters in the world squaring off.

This **** should be a crime if it doesn't happen. This is perfect timing and the perfect fan setup, everybody is watching these guys.

Arum knows deep down inside that Floyd would put an end to Manny's win streak. He knows that Floyd would take Manny to school.

Floyd destroyed Manny in PPV buys against in his last three fight aginst 3 common opponents and yet people are saying that Floyd doesn't deserve the bigger share? facts are facts and the fact is that Floyd is a bigger draw! Period! Arum is just scared for his guy too lose which is inevitable once he gets in there with Floyd. But he knows that a lot of people hate Mayweather, and will support his position even though it makes no sense.

The air will come out of the balloon IF Cotto beats Pacquiao but another worst case scenario is that Manny badly wants to get into politics during 2010. He can't run for office seriously and train for Mayweather too. Thats why the fight has to happen in the spring.

You guys do realize that those numbers are reflected by U.S. sales, since most countries watch the fight for free. Alot of the big current draws fanbase is worldwide since they're not American fighters. Bringing in huge numbers to the casinos, hotels, airlines, and revenue across the boards for wherever the fight is held.

Let's face it, a 50-50 purse split is fair for both fighters, other than that, the fight won't happen. So, yeah, why not FLOYD vs MOSLEY? Who is he gonna fight if he can't take any of the two. Let FLOYD fight the real WELTERWEIGHT now, unless he wants to fight IVAN CALDERON at a catchweight of 143. :-(

You really think that Floyd would have an easier time with Mosley than with Judah?:huh:nut

You need to pass that **** over, what ever it is your smoking, if Mosley was an easy fight, Floyd would have already taken the fight....
Why do you think he is eye balling the Pac Cotto fight? Cus no matter who wins that fight if its a war both will be effected, if its Pacquiao that wins its a smaller guy, if its Cotto that wins, well as many think he is damaged goods.

Mosley well you havent heard any of the experts say Shane is done, or that Shane is damaged goods, and guess what, Floyd doesnt want to fight him....

all of these so called Easy fights for Floyd, Floyd turned them all down, even when there was a career high payday offered for them...

You do realize that PPV numbers are factual evidence that Floyd is the bigger draw. If people are watching the fight for free in other countries, then they aren't contribuitng to the financial success of the fight. Hotel's and airline revebues don't have any bearing on the finaancial success of the fight. The money is made in PVV sales. At the end of the day, thats what decides the purse splits. The biggest draw gets the larger share of the money. Floyd took a smaller percentage against Oscar. Manny should do it as well unless he's not interested in losing to Floyd.
