According to Arum, the Tijuana Tornado will be able to return to the ring in virtually any other state come February.

The way Arum tells it, the one-year California commission expires in January 2010 and Margarito has no plan's to go hat in hand before that board seeking to be re licensed.

The ABC (Association of Boxing Commissions) has said he is free to apply for a license anywhere outside of California when the suspension ends,” Arum said Wednesday. “So that is what he will do.”

“He could be an opponent for Manny Pacquiao, that’s possible, but he also has a natural rematch against Miguel Cotto,” Arum said.

I suspect Arum will try to make Cotto-Margarito 2 at Yankee Stadium in 2010.

I had forgotten about that cheating mofo. Cotto getting revenge would be nice.

    Cotto could never beat Margarito.
it's not in him to fight at that pace. (as proven)

He shouldn't be allowed to fight anywhere, and his trainer shouldn't be allowed in anyone's corner either.

He could've ****ed someone up badly with the **** he tried to pull.

Ironically, Arum will probably market him as "the bad guy" in boxing and he'll finally start getting the big audience he's always wanted.

I knew it's highly possible... I already have Margarito listed in my poll on who PAC will possibly fight next on March 2010...

link --> Win or Loss against Cotto, who do you think PAC will fight next on March 2010?

You got to appreciate PAC's gladiator/warrior mentality if ever he gets Margacheato for March 2010...

Exactly. This man will be easier to knock out with his no defense come foward style and know that his chin has been cracked hes pretty much done.
