McClellan made a living of knocking out taxi cab drivers, with exception of devastatingly knocking out John Mugabi and Julian Jackson, before being dismantled by Nigel Benn, and retiring at age 28. Froch is undefeated at age 32, and has a comparable resume (not quite the 1st round KO total). Froch is also bigger than McClellan and anyone he ever faced. I disagree with every one of you.

Gerald was a huge middle and I dont think froch would be the bigger man id say equal as far as natural size. Mccellan would knock out froch in 5 rounds

    Dismantled by Nigel Benn?

McClellan had him out on the ground threw the ropes with in 30 seconds of the fight. Knocked him down again later on. Then McClellan started going down on his own (it was obvious somthing was wrong with him).

And if you think Froch is anywhere near as tough or as good as Benn......then you are just plain stupid.

This is little more than idolizing the past.
    McClellan 1-3 rounds?

    Please.

Any of these match ups always has the current guy blown away by the late 80s early 90s opponent.

Early rounds is normally when McClellan KOs his opponets. He does it very quick.

He had Benn dropped in 30 seconds (that is not an easy thing to do), Benn is light years ahead of Froch.

If I was stupid, imagine what that'd make you. He didn't go down for no reason. If he didn't get dismantled, then he just got beat up. Take your pick.

    You said Benn dismatled him......

That was not the case. The fight was brutal, in no way was it one sided with Benn whipping the floor with him, Benn was getting ****ed up too. You had the nerve to say he "retired" at 28. It's kind of hard to keep fighting on when you are blind, partially brain dead and have lost 80% of your hearing.
